What goes up, must come down

Who: Naoi and Firo
   What:    Arrival in Luceti
 When:  September 13th, around noon
Where: South of the village near the river
Summary: The two arrive in Luceti, meeting in a not so nice way
  Rating:   PG-13 at most!

[Up in a tree, on a sturdy looking branch, lies a young boy, sleeping.  There's no telling how long he's been there but he finally opens his eyes, focusing in on the leaves and branches above him that are swaying in the breeze.  Behind the leaves is the bright blue sky and the sun that shines down on his face whenever the leaves move to the side.

It's just like that day....the day his brother died....this sky is mocking him isn't it?  Reminding him of that life changing day--for him and his brother.  This sky still says 'you're the one who died' yet he can't help but stare up at it, no matter how painful that fact is.  Just let him take in this moment for a second longer...

All the while, a quiet creaking sound comes from the branch under him and not but a minute later the branch snaps.  Before he has time to actually snap out of his daze and register the snapping of the branch that's holding him up, it gives out from under him and he falls to the ground, reaching for something, anything to grab on to but fails.

He waits for the painful impact but ends up landing on something rather...soft and squishy.  At least softer than the ground would be since falling from that height would hurt like a bitch.  That doesn't mean it didn't hurt though, whatever it was was still solid.  But after landing on the thing under him, he slides off and holds his head in his hands, gripping his green locks]

Damn that hurt...

[ Firo's peacefully slumbering under a tree. The picture is a far cry from where he was just moments before: pale, panicked and dashing through rainy streets. Ennis and her safety were the only things on his mind.

Now he's quiet and still, thinking of nothing.

That is, until he's awoken by a sudden crash, the sensation of being crushed and an agitated voice. The groggy haze of first waking up dissipates as he goes on full alert. ]

What the hell?!

[ Eyes squinting against the sun, he clambers to his feet and tries to get a look at his attacker. ]
