[Cheria starts the moment she hears those footsteps, but the turning of the doorknob really sends her jumping back. In a fit of panic she does the first thing that pops into her head. That is, to dart away from the door and further into the hallway, away from the living room and its mistletoe.]

[Asbel pokes his head out of the door, glancing up and down the hallway. Did he hear something out there?

...Well, he doesn't see anything... Maybe it was Tiger Festival playing... Ah well. Hopefully Cheria's still in the mood for this... He heads down the hallway, towards the living room.]

[The moment Asbel and Richard have rounded the corner, Cheria comes out of hiding again. Oh no... Now those two are headed for the mistletoe, where Cheria is not. And from the sound of that conversation, it seemed Richard was actually spurring Asbel on to catch Cheria under the mistletoe.

Strange, considering what she saw during the draft, but it's a chance she'll gladly take. Carefully, she strides back towards the living room to see where Asbel has gone.]

[Richard, meanwhile, will be positioning himself just out of sight but in a location where he can spy on everything that's going on, because he's a creeper like that.]

[When Asbel arrives in the living room, he glances around, looking for her. Did she go somewhere...? The groceries aren't even put away...]

[The moment Cheria rounds the corner to step into the living room, she pauses. Now how is she supposed to get Asbel to the doorway with the mistletoe? It's all the way on the other side of the room, across from the kitchen.]

[Well... Cheria's not around. Maybe she'll appear later...

Okay, let's put away some of these groceries. Quick, Cheria, now's your chance! Move the mistletoe!]

[... If she can't get Asbel to the mistletoe, she'll have to bring the mistletoe to Asbel. Tiptoeing as silently as possible, she moves over to the far doorway and reaches up, trying to get a hold of the mistletoe.

Why did Richard have to put it up so high? Almost... got it...]
