Round 2

Luffy didn’t care about the points. Actually, he probably didn’t even know there WAS points in this kind of thing. He figured the only way to win in boxing was the sameway he won in his first and last boxing match up: a KO. So he let Mac get his punches in in-exchange for a small breather. The punches still hurt quite a bit, and would continue to sting for quite a while. But Luffy ignored it. He thought the boxer would keep swinging and throwing punches until he was exhausted like he was. But unfortunately Mac was too smart to take such obvious bait.

All wasn’t lost though. When he seen Mac back up he decided that this was the opportune moment to strike. He wouldn’t let him have the opportunity to breathe now. Just like the one he himself was denied earlier. But he’s not going to just throw more jabs and hooks and punches. Instead he is dashing towards Mac at full speed. And once he’s caught up to him he’s going to bend down slightly and go in for the strongest uppercut he can manage.

Yes. Luffy is starting with an uppercut.
