I've no intention of remaining above when the third Party arrive, should they arrive. My place is sickbay, keeping the rest of you lot alive.

Given the circumstances I would be hard pressed to find a combatant that would prefer to guard sickbay. If they'll be of more use up here, here is where they should remain.
