Most of what I've heard of the magic here is its things that a novice with runes would quickly outshine. Simple tricks but nothing that could actually make a person useful!

Not true.... I know people who are skilled with Nala can even heal broken bones.

What we must do is exactly that, regardless of how much it will irritate us. I wanted to save you as soon as possible, you know? I wanted to stop the Godwins- at the root of the problem, with everything I had. But if I had simply charged towards Sol-Falena to save you, I would have died long before I reached you, and nothing would have changed.

Right now, we must work on strengthening ourselves and wait for the Malnosso to make a mistake, then seize our chance.

No, we need to find out about this place so when they DO make a mistake we aren't reacting blindly without any understanding!

There is a lot out there to learn of this place- many people have been here much, much longer then I have.

And none of them seem to want to SHARE that information. Whatever. While I CAN do things out there I'm going to.

I wonder... so many people have tried things, but I doubt many have been open about it enough to make a list.

My theory is that the way to make the barrier fall lies beyond it, with the Malnosso and their technology that has created it. We must find a chance to infiltrate their own facilities. We've been given plenty of chances to contact them... if they messed up the shifts, somehow...

Isn't messing up the shifts bad? Isn't that what turns people all funny?

Shifts do almost everything here, from what I can see... they repair houses and cause the strange happening occurring here, but they also seem to be a function of Malnosso technology, if what I have seen during the war drafts are any indication.

I doubt it. Previous encounters have proven them to be very careful with it.
