[Pao-Lin has no idea what Kazooie is babbling about (friend? Hero? Yeah, right), but quite frankly at the moment she doesn't care. All that matters at the moment is that Kazooie is clearly an obstacle in her way -- one that comes with much less uncomfortable baggage than the two slumped over in a bloody heap not a few feet away. It does make her a bit uneasy that she has to confront Kazooie before she can truly check if she's finished things, but at least both Barnaby and Kotetsu look like they're in no shape to even stand, and surely a cartoon bird, as strange as the sight is, can't be that much of a challenge.
