[The oddly cool, clipped tone that the message was given suddenly breaks off into a heated bark.] Putain de merde!

[There's a rustle of pages and the sound of bodies colliding, followed more swearing in French.

The feed cuts out.

"I do appreciate that."

[Obi-Wan might have been outnumbered, but he was far from outmatched, striking at weapons with his saber and at weapon-arms with his fist, taking care to avoid permanent injuries. With this second skilled defender entering the fray, it does not take long for the orcs to be sent into a scattered retreat for the trees. Before the leader of the band flees, however, he flashes Obi-Wan with a snarl that almost looks... triumphant.

That didn't seem terribly promising. Still, a victory is a victory, especially one with minimal injury and no deaths.]

"... Well, that was relatively painless. Obi-Wan Kenobi. I am honored to make your acquaintance."

[He does not let his guard down, however, only giving Steve a brief nod before resuming his scan of the environment in case the orcs attempted a sneak attack.]

"... I... believe I encountered a number of my former allies in the field, yes. Or their counterparts from other units."

[Best not to think about how readily they had tried to kill him when they last met.]

[Obi-Wan slowly moves out from behind his makeshift cover, scanning the environment for his attackers- and then ducks once again as a large, jagged hole appears in the bark of the tree behind him.]

"They seem less than amenable to the suggestion."

[Too close. At this rate, this will turn into a needless battle - and nobody will win that. She flinches at the sudden hole, before looking Obi-Wan over; he seems unhurt, at first glance, and he's speaking, which is a good sign. She lets herself breathe.]

Then what now? Are you really planning to attack, when they're also people trapped in this situation? [If he says yes...

She'll follow him.]

[He stops as soon as that coloured thing flies by him. Turning around, he sees where it came from as well as the voice.]

But they're attacking me!

[He only gives a brief glance to Obi-Wan to show that he heard him before growling and lunging into more of the attackers, ripping and tearing without mercy.]

No, I don't think so. They've got no reason to pit us against the other. Maybe its someone else in the enclosure...

[Luke takes the kick and stumbles forward, almost tripping but using the staff to keep upright and lash out with his boot, aiming right for Beelzebub's face, and using the Force to make a second telekinetic burst, both aimed at hitting the demon and moving Luke out of his reach]

Palpatine's men seemed reasonable, if surprised that I was here. I do not believe they are a danger, they are military men after all.

There's a lot of things they have no reason to do. When has that ever stopped them? [Despite his protest, his eyes scan their surroundings for a possible mastermind.]

[Well, that was one of the easiest battles he's had today. If only all his enemies would take off running as soon as he jumps into the fray.

He returns the nod, equally interested in watching their surroundings for any other potential threats.]

Well, they're angry and hungry rioters. They tend to do that. But you're not the only one being attacked. We just need to let them work out their frustrations and then maybe they'll calm down.

[Maybe being the key word there, since none of the refugees look prepared to stand down.]

Exactly how are we supposed to find someone like that?

The Lieutenant seemed a bit more reasonable though. So it was some outside influence.

[He spares a moment to look the fellow over. Rather physically imposing, to be certain, but he sensed there was more than that to Steve Rogers. He spared a smile.]

"Well, I believe they're gone-"

[He's cut off by a sudden, thunderous footstep, and then another. He turns to see the Uruk-Hai and his squad emerging from the treeline.

Followed by a rather large figure bearing thick, crude armor.]

"... Oh, dear."

"Didn't think we was done yet, did ya, Red-Beard? You an' your friend ought to make us a nice dinner tonight, if our friend don't eat ya first."

[And he obviously spoke too soon. Rather than retreat, it seems the orcs where only getting back-up. Huge back-up.]

What are those things?

"Actually, it seems a bit reminiscent of a Rancor, from my own Galaxy. Or perhaps a-"

[The troll lets out a massive bellow, causing Obi-Wan to pause in mid-sentence and close his eyes against the sudden gust of foul breath that overpowers his nose even at this distance.]

"... Gundark."

[And then the troll and the orcs charge.]

[He's not altogether sure what Obi-Wan is talking about, but he'll take his word for it.

When the troll and orcs charge Steve takes position and puts his shield out in front of him, bracing for impact.]

This won't be good.

[She does notice him but is fairly preoccupied with keeping them away. Some man charges from the Beast's side with some sort of weapon and Robin grows some hands from the ground to clutch at his ankles to stop him. It makes her dizzy though and the man, though shrieking in surprise at first, breaks free from her grip ridiculously easily and continues his charge]

[Obi-Wan doesn't have time to agree before the troll reaches him, swinging what appears to be an enormous uprooted tree at Obi-Wan. He leaps aside, striking out with his saber as he rolls away from the massive log, paring away a portion of the trunk before rolling to his feet.

Only to meet the onrushing orcs.]

"I would prefer a minimum of casualties, Rogers."

I'll keep you covered then. I don't have any superpowers normally. Just what you see is what you get.

[Okay first off... No. Given the amount of traps she wears, and how many masks, disguises and everything else, that is just a ridiculous claim, yoi. But in any case, she's actually fairly confident for a change. Without everyone's superpowers, her own skills have substantially increased in value - she imagines.]

[Wow Fujiko. Just wow. This is why her jokes always get dead silence in Lupin III, for the record. Also, she may or may not mean the guns, because yup.]
