Assistance is needed immediately at the farms to the northwest of the village. We have hostiles and--

[The oddly cool, clipped tone that the message was given suddenly breaks off into a heated bark.] Putain de merde!

[There's a rustle of pages and the sound of bodies colliding, followed more swearing in French.

The feed cuts out.

Hurry, Luceti.]

[You're not alone, Yuri. It's a wonder someone hadn't actually decided to throw a fist or two back there -- there's fighting a person or two, but a whole mob of them?...] I wish there was something we could do. Something that could make them and us happy.

That's fine, sir I was just-[He drops to one knee in front of a charing orc, causing him to slid right over his shielded shoulder.]-thinking the same thing!

[Steve pulls his shield off his forearm and sends it flying towards another group of orcs gaining ground towards them.]

Right now, right here? They are not looking for peace, and letting them beat you won't satisfy their rage.

[If the rest of the perimeter of the farm was anything to go by it was quite apparent that the Kin'coran's had something quite different on their mind. However maybe it would be best that they tried harder for some sort of compromise...at least it would have been if one of the three strangers hadn't started towards Rin with a malicious gleam in his eyes.

Reversing her grip on the shovel so the wooden handle was extended she dashes between the group and Rin and sweeps at the rushing man's legs.]

Stay back! There is nothing for you here!

[Dammit Noel, stop having feelings.]

At this point, it looks like the only thing that'd make that happen would be more food coming in. ... Or, them giving up and realizing that throwing little temper tantrums isn't going to fly here. [Or in other words, incredibly unlikely.] But I guess standing around, talking about the situation isn't gonna fix it at all. Let's see if we can find any weaker-willed looking guys to talk down - I'm not in the mood to pick fights with entire crowds.

[He quickly snaps his head in her direction - he didn't realise Robin was there. But then he turns back just in time to swipe at the charging man, knocking him to the ground. He gives another look to his companion to indicate his thanks before going back at the intruders.]

Work out their frustrations?! [A brief turn around to repel one of the attackers, then turning back.] What about my frustrations?!

[Steve uses his shield to knock another refugee down.] I never said you couldn't fight back. Just don't kill anyone.

O... Okay. [Individuals were probably a better start than taking on the big crowds. After that little incident just then, Noel isn't feeling very good at convincing the rioters, but one or two wouldn't be so hard, right?

Of course. So let's have Yuri lead again...!!!

Taking a quick look-around, she closes in on two men together within the crowd, appearing stand-offish but otherwise not saying particularly anything.

She gets Yuri's attention.] What about those two?

[Grrrr. He wasn't intending on killing anyone but he won't say this before he gets back into the heat of the fight. No, he won't kill - he just wants to show the Kin'Corrans what he won't take from them.]

[Even if he had replied, Steve might not have caught it, because just then a small group of four refugees broke off from attacking Beast and started gunning for him instead. ]

[Obi-Wan watches the shield move for a moment- its effectiveness as a weapon is rather astonishing- before turning his attention to the troll again. He manages to dodge another swing of the trunk, but this time, rather than leap away from it, he slices it rather neatly in half and leaps atop the troll's hand, then jumping again toward its shoulder.

It hadn't worked terribly well against the Hulk, but perhaps the second time was the charm.]

[Caught up in knocking out the rest at first... but then he was sure there were more here. He turns just in time to see the man who was just talking to him get attacked by the missing group. Wasting no time, he lunges towards them...]

Hmm?

[Looking at said two people ... and nodding.]

... Yeah, they shouldn't be a problem. [He starts to walk toward them, but stops.] Actually, you try again with those guys. They almost look like they want someone to come over and tell them to leave, so it should be hard to mess up with them.

[Sure, that wasn't the nicest way to put it, but really Noel that last time was just barely gold star worthy.]

[Oh, dear. That wouldn't do at all. He quickly moves to interpose himself between the Beast and a Hydra soldier.]

"Perhaps. Let us hope that they do not decide they are better equipped to distribute the resources than we are."

[Applejack looks relieved to see another hue-man who does not seem to be part of the visiting crowd. She and Winona both stay in defensive stances, but the dog starts to wag her tail and AJ smiles.]

Ah'd really appreciate it. This here's not the biggest orchard, but Ah'd sure hate ta lose any of the trees again.

"For the moment, I would prefer a nonviolent solution. I'm simply uncertain as to what that should be."

[Another blast flies at him, this one not sonic weaponry, but the blast of an energy weapon. He manages to deflect it harmlessly into the sky.]

"... And we seem to be surrounded. Wonderful."

Got it! [Weapons are about as dangerous in her head as an angry cow's hooves, so she's ready to duck and dodge if need be. As it is, though, she feints aside at the last moment with a quick kick of her heels meant to spook the nearest poacher in the opposite direction. It works, and AJ runs behind him like a furious bronco to use him to push a few others out of the way.

Once she's gotten them a good distance off, she throws her shoulder into the backmost poacher to create a domino effect and knock over most of the bunch.]

Yee-haw! This side's clear! How's it lookin' on your side?

They know better than to meddle with me. I've had more than a few run-ins with the 501st.

[Steve has his hands full with the handful of orcs surrounding them, but he manages to keep Obi-Wan and the troll in his peripherals just in case things take a turn for the worst.

Although he had to admit, while watching the movies Luke had loaned him, he hadn't thought much of the lightsabers and their weapon prowess. But seeing one now, in action, is actually quite impressive.]

[Though she'd been summoning all her firmness to defend herself, and Obi-Wan, she feels a palpable relief when he plans to continue negotiating instead, as she'd prefer herself.]

I see. Then I'll have to do my best.

[And pray these assailants recognize her intentions.]

Mercury Aqua Blizzard!

[Her tiara flashes, and ice streams from her crossed hands. With her powers weakened, she can't use them as effectively, no; but while it doesn't encase them, the ice still starts to grow up around the feet of the closest attackers. At the very least, she can slow them down.]

[Steve manages to take down the first two refugees to reach him before Beast jumps in to help. Spying one of them coming at his ally from behind, Steve throws his shield with admirable accuracy, knocking the sneaky refugee in the chest and onto the ground.]

[Which connected! The guy yelps, but he's only barely hurt by that.Rin slugs him- or intended too. Despite being thrown off balance, the Lord of Flies is more than capable of ducking out of the way of that punch and stabbing his fingernails into Rin's gut, drawing blood.]

[Obi-Wan watches the spell, once again impressed. He doesn't often see much of the Sailor Senshi in action, but whenever he does, it's something brilliant, stunning. Alive, like the essence of planets and the cores of stars. Even now, limited, capped, weaker than it would otherwise be, her magic is still alive in an impressive way.

He doesn't spend too long admiring the work, though, as once she's ensnared the attackers, he goes to work, leaping at the attacker with the sonic gun to strike...

at his weapon.]

"I would prefer not to settle this with bloodshed."

[The Hydra soldier did not respond. He simply stared, partly in awe and partly in fury.

His nearer partner looked up from his own ice-encrusted legs long enough to fire off a blast, which Obi-Wan once again deflected. He didn't look away from the one with the disabled weapon.]

[Unfortunately, it didn't feel terribly impressive. As weakened as he was by the power-cap, he could scarcely channel the Force into his muscles for more than a few moments at a time. His reactions were sluggish, his responses criminally slow. It was like the tranquilizers on the beach all over again.

A quickly spared glance at Steve showed that he was doing a good job of keeping the orcs at bay, and so Obi-Wan made his way to the troll's neck, dodging the clumsy attempts to swat at him or grab him, and he focuses his energy, his power, into his muscles, bracing himself for a single strike, right at the troll's neck, a strike meant to disable it and hopefully render it unconscious.

And then the troll lands a blow, sending him flying toward the field.]
