Summary: The Art Club is having it's first meeting! Come meet your fellow artists, make some friends, and create some art.

The first ever meeting of the Luceti Art Club has Rapunzel a teensy bit nervous, but she's determined to make things a success and lots of fun for everyone. Even with the rainy morning, she's ready to adapt. She sends out a general message on the journal as a reminder of the meeting that day for everyone in town, including a note about a shift in location to the school on account of inclement weather.

Today's meeting will be composed of two sections:

First, a meet and greet. After introducing herself and saying a few words about the club, Rapunzel will leave the first half-hour of the meeting for people to socialize and get to know one another. If she sees someone standing alone, she will certainly steer them toward a conversation. After all, making friends is one of the top goals of this club! Rapunzel will also be dodging outside to catch stragglers and make sure anyone passing by knows what's going on.

Second, paper and crayons--yes, crayons--will provided for each participant. Rapunzel will then instruct them to close their eyes and imagine something unreal, and to trace whatever it is onto the paper with their eyes closed. Once they have, they can open their eyes and color the rest of it however they want! And then they can share said artistic creations with those around them. Sharing is caring. And also learning, in this case.

Before, during, and after the meeting, there will be refreshments provided, baked by Rapunzel herself. These refreshments include (but are not limited to): pastries, brownies, cookies, pies, breads, and tarts. There will also be pitchers of lemonade and plastic cups. Eat up and enjoy!

And remember, there are no mistakes, just happy accidents.

[ Ikki shows up to the meeting, of course! She gets there early, with Rapunzel, to help set up, and she'll help greet people at the door, too. She's very, very cheerful throughout the entire thing, and will speak to just about everyone there. She'll probably end up speaking the most with her grandfather for obvious reasons, but will happily hit up Rapunzel and Sifu Raine, among many others. Still, she will make a point of trying to chat with everyone at least once, or at least to see all the pictures, because of course.

She'll also be at the refreshment table periodically, although she only eats the guardian permissible number of snacks, sigh.

When it comes to drawing, Ikki decided to try to draw a castle up in the sky. You can see it here, and the purple outline is what she got with her eyes shut. She'll basically show it to everyone. ]

[In the first part of the meeting, Rapunzel will be making it a point to try and talk to everyone present--after all, she wants to be friends with all the people in this club, too! So expect the energetic blond making a beeline your way. As mentioned, she'll be pulling in people from outside as well!

And she'll be participating in the second activity too, even if she feels like she has a slight advantage considering she knew what was coming. She decides to draw some kind of giant ostrich-like bird with a body of noodles. Yes, noodles. It also happens to be helping a kitten out of a tree with someone who looks suspiciously like Robin Hood. Why? Because imagination, that's why!

She'll also be restocking the goodies as they deplete, and she'll enjoy some of her spoils, too. Catch her pretty much everywhere.]

[Hugo does show up, and doesn't even need to be roped into it. Though during the first part of the meeting he's not exactly going to go out of his way to socialize. Which basically means harass away because he needs to make friends.

For the second part, he has a harder time with that because he just isn't so good with imagination. He's good at drawing from something he can see. So he draws the first unreal thing that comes to mind, which is basically his family actually not being dysfunctional. So it's a picture of him, along with a man about ten years older than him that is obviously his brother with how alike they look. And then there is their father looking proud of his two sons rather than stern and disapproving which is far more normal, especially when it comes to Hugo's older brother.

And while it won't be seen when everyone's eyes are closed, once people open their eyes one may see that Hugo's method of drawing is rather interesting. He uses magic to move the crayons, and he's also pretty good at it. Not as good as he would be with a pencil, but still obviously reasonably skilled even with his eyes closed. Of course, drawing with magic gives him an advantage with that.]

[ Madoka's not really good at this - well, she's trying her best, but even so! She closes her eyes to try and draw something, but.. in the end, once she opens her eyes and looks at it, it just looks like a random bunch of lines, huh..? Can she really still make something out of this? It looked much better in her head, after all, but maybe this is just what happens when you draw with closed eyes..

She's staring at the paper a little dejectedly, although she's already trying to encourage herself again. ]

[Raven is pretty much parked in the corner for the first part of the meeting. Attempts to lure her out will be met with scowls and varying degrees of success. It's nothing personal; this is just how she is. And it's crowded and people are loud and boisterous and enthusiastic and...well, she's not sure what to make of any of it. It says a lot that she showed up on time, though. Effort in the little things.

For the 'activity' she is sitting as much in the back as humanly possible, staring between paper and crayons, looking...lost. Mystified. Idly prodding at the corners of the paper with a crayon or two but not getting anywhere.]

[Grune is pretty terrible with time, so noon sharp is just not going to happen. She does at least wander in during the last part of the meet and greet, which she takes to very enthusiastically.

When it comes to the art part of the meeting, she doesn't hesitate for even a moment, but takes to the crayons like an old hand (probably because she uses them all the time). She...might have a little trouble sticking to the directions, though.

And, of course, she'll definitely be partaking in the snacks.]

Ikki, that looks great! A castle in the sky? [She points to the figure.] Is that you?

[Rapunzel spots the unfamiliar fellow, and considering he's not occupied with conversation and he's someone she doesn't know, that makes him a prime target. So she's coming his way.]

[Yeah, definitely a prime target. Hugo definitely is one of those guys who knows squat about being sociable beyond general politeness and getting a rise out of people.]

[Rydia perks up as she sees Grune enter, waving.]

Perfect timing! [Kinda.] We haven't gotten to drawing yet, so there's time to snag some goodies.

[Rydia's only slightly late for the meet and greet, but still shows up with plenty of time to socialize. She'll snag a few treats and wander around to chat with familiar faces or introduce herself to new ones. It's been a while since she's been part of any gathering, so she's all for catching up.

The crayons surprise her a bit -she's never actually used them before- but she's willing to give them a try. Her art eventually takes the shape of a small dragon with large butterfly wings. The latter are what she pays the post attention to, adding a wide variety of colors.]

[Konan's keeping to herself at the art club meeting, here more to observe other people's works rather than socialize.

She does smile slightly at the young girl's enthusiasm, though. It reminds her a little of herself at that age.

[A lady with blue hair tied up in a loose bun with a paper flower pinned to it is keeping to herself rather than mingling socially, but she did manage to make it to the art club meeting after all.

She's mildly surprised at the length of Rapunzel's hair, but doesn't comment on it.]

[After having Raine remind her to go to school on a Sunday rather than staying inside and playing all day, Yotsuba shows up! Yotsuba is all over the place during the meeting, saying hello to people and seeing how many cookies she can get away with eating before someone stops her. Or before she starts feeling a stomach ache coming on.

For the second half, Yotsuba is scribbling madly with her crayons all over her paper. This is imagination of a child at work! You want something unreal?! How about a superhero cat that can meow so loud it makes all the bad guys nearby fall over? That's what she's drawing! By the time she's opened her eyes and started to fill in the rest of her supercat it looks something like this. Now all it needs is a cape! Then she can start colouring it in.]

[And she's positively beaming at him. Really, she can't say just how tickled she is that people actually showed up for this.]

[Mayoi is peaking at everyone's drawings, just to see what people are making, when notices Yotsuba's art. She taps the girl's shoulder to get her attention.]

Hey, what are you drawing?

[jdkfhg-- Tap on her shoulder, who is it!? ... Oh, this person doesn't look dangerous, scary or anything else like that! Phew, she was worried for a second there. Yotsuba takes her picture and holds it up as close as she can to Mayoi's face.]

Supercat! It's a cat, a superhero cat who fights bad guys and drinks milk! Do you like it?

[Wow Madoka, you must be a really good artist. Yotsuba is over here, staring at lines and trying to figure out what it is you've come up with.]

[Too deep, much too deep for her to understand. Madoka's imagination must be a wonderful place to visit.]

[Staying in the corner, scowling at people? Well that just won't do! Brace yourself Raven, a very excitable five year old with a passion for drawing is coming your way.]

Hellooo!! I'm Yotsuba Koiwai and I'm five. Five years old. Why are you in the corner? [Did you do something bad?]

[Aang is very enthusiastic and supportive throughout the whole meeting. Part of him just feels glad that Ikki's here to see the art club open. He'll make sure to socialize as much as possible with everyone he sees and is also on straggler-catching duty.

During the second period, Aang thinks of something "unreal" to draw. He decides to draw what seems unreal to him; something like Appa but without his special features. The result looks like a puppy. He also winds up drawing some silhouettes of air nomads of both genders surrounding it. His art is probably a bit clearer than you'd expect from someone who's friends with Sokka, but he could still use practice.

And Aang will also eat some of the snacks during the ending while continuing to talk up everyone around. However, he monitors how much he eats and is also on sentinel duty to limit Ikki's snack eating.]

[Miyabi's at the school rather early, practically bouncing on her feet with excitement. She was almost so excited that she ran out of her house and forgot to size herself up! Thankfully, the rain barreling down on her reminded her soon enough, and now she was here, shaking out her parasol and ready to dive right in with gusto. An art club...it was something akin to the meetings she'd have with her friends back home, in Ponc'Tan, where they'd do silly little art projects together just for fun. It was almost just like that...and she's so happy to be able to do such things again, with brand new friends.

So Miyabi's flittering around when and where she can, like a true little butterfly, smiling and laughing and drawing, of course. Her little crayon drawing is nothing akin to a spectacular mess at first, and the poncle just laughs herself silly when she sees what she made, though adding to it once her eyes were open was....yet another experience. She could definitely try to make something out of it, maybe. Visualize what's there now, and work with the shapes, the lines, the colors--]

[And when Rapunzel spots her not socializing, she immediately makes a beeline for her.]

Because really, she's been here upward of 5 years... But she's managed to convince Rapunzel, and possibly someone else, that, in her 'staying home' she's a totally new person.

Now let's hope that Neliel and Daisy don't come along and ruin the illusion.

Anyone that comes to meet her would first notice she's not wearing much. Though, she did throw on a pair of jeans, she's still only clad in an armored bikini up top. Secondly, she's tall, quite so. She's only met one other female taller than her. Lastly, she may, somehow, on an off chance in a dark room, be mistaken for Rapunzel given that she herself is carrying 18+ feet of hair!

But she seems friendly enough! "Good afternoon. I am Valvalis, Lady of the Wind. Lovely to meet you~♥"
