Summary: It's Marco's birthday. Ace planned a party. Need I say more?
Rating: Uh, PG? Since there will be pirates here, I'm hoping not to go above PG-13. PLAY NICE, KIDS.
[Ace wasn't going to go overboard on the decorating. In fact, he had to leave a lot of it up to everyone else since his injuries prevent quite a bit of movement. But soon enough, there were a decent amount of streamers up, and a nice big banner that says "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARCO". He had to work extra hard to get the cake to look just right. The cake is surrounded by the presents, and there's a few separate tables for food and drinks. Fruit punch for everyone, and some alcohol for the adults and pirates.

Come on, people, this is a party. Let's live it up a little! And don't forget to embarrass congratulate the birthday pirate. Feel free to leave your own comment below, just for mingling, or just doing something silly, or giving Marco your present! Have at!]

The Moon Festival is tomorrow night at the shrine. Its a celebration in my world for the moon. I'm going to be using my magic to put on a fireworks show, since we don't have any on hand.

[And then she giggles, hiding her mouth with her hand]

Aye, I'm sure of it, eh? Thanks Rei. [There's ALMOST a pause on her name. He wants to nickname her, but there is truly nothing appropriate. At best he could call her priestess or something of the title, but he's pretty sure he'd mess that up.]

Hopefully the moon take it as an offering this year, eh? No need to get crushed again. [Even if he had fun with it...]

Oh? You do fireworks too? [A small laugh.] Ace's magic is like that too. [Another near pause on "magic."] He's made of fire and shoots off of his own fireworks, so that's my nickname for him. You don't need any extra help do you?

Crushed...? Oh...right, I read about that. Hopefully yes.

[She shakes her head, a little confused but nodding]

I wouldn't mind help, no. I've been learning magic from Helios-san, but more fireworks would always make it more memorable.

It was fun. Ace and I flew up to try to kick the moon and leave Pops' mark on it. [Marco will forever consider this practically a crowning achievement okay.] But aye, no need to repeat it.

I'll see if I can bug him to help put on a show. Usually it doesn't take too much when it comes to us and fire, eh?

That'd be lovely. He told me he was able to become flame, so that seems like something he'd enjoy.

[Soft laugh.] Something like that. It's missing a ship and few dozen hundred pirates, but about like this. Except no one's wearing makeup and Ace and I haven't set any fires yet. But that's probably a good thing, eh.

[And it's definitely clear he's enjoying himself.]

Probably. Though its difficult to say, since the buildings repair themselves. And its good that you and Ace-san aren't in makeup. That would be...strange.
