What: Marco's surprise birthday party.

Where: Community Housing 3, Room 40
Summary: It's Marco's birthday. Ace planned a party. Need I say more?
Rating: Uh, PG? Since there will be pirates here, I'm hoping not to go above PG-13. PLAY NICE, KIDS.
[Ace wasn't going to go overboard on the decorating. In fact, he had to leave a lot of it up to everyone else since his injuries prevent quite a bit of movement. But soon enough, there were a decent amount of streamers up, and a nice big banner that says "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARCO". He had to work extra hard to get the cake to look just right. The cake is surrounded by the presents, and there's a few separate tables for food and drinks. Fruit punch for everyone, and some alcohol for the adults and pirates.

Come on, people, this is a party. Let's live it up a little! And don't forget to embarrass congratulate the birthday pirate. Feel free to leave your own comment below, just for mingling, or just doing something silly, or giving Marco your present! Have at!]

Well it's weird, I never know which to answer! Anyway, Meisters're like the focus you got in being an exorcist. There's Doctors, Tamers, Dragoons, Aria, and Knights. Like Shiemi's a tamer 'cus she's getting demons under her control, and Yukio's a doctor 'cus he knows drugs and a dragoon 'cus he's good at shooting.

[Grins.] Sounds fun, eh. So you and your brother offset each other's advantages. You with melee and swords, him with guns and meds?

[He has never thought of this.

Nope. Huh. He pauses to think about it, his fork now stuck in the last bit of cake]

Awww. Together fighting... wait. What do you guys fight? [Like. No. He actually... doesn't know. And it took him this long to remember that most worlds don't have the same things to fight in them as his world.]

Wait, you don't know that? We're exorcists. We fight demons to save people from 'em.

[Proudly, that is. And that second party is key distinction]

[Tilts his head.] Hm. Can you explain that a little? Like what a demon is or looks like or does? I keep hearing a lot about demons, so I guess they must be really common in other worlds, but in mine, demons are just people. [Or devil fruits.]

[rashness]

Demons aren't people.

Getting that one out of the way. First. He exhales though, setting down his plate and the fork on top of it (he didn't see the trash okay) and crossing his arms]

Okay, so... there's two worlds, right? There's the one humans are in, Assiah, and the one demons are from, Gehenna. Now, I guess not all demons are evil. There's ones which make deals with people like the ones tamers summon or just cooperative ones which become gods or stuff like that... actually, I wonder if they even are demons--- no, okay. A lot of the ones from Gehenna are evil, that's just how they are. They wanna hurt people or kill 'em or generally mess stuff up in Assiah.
