Summary: Hiccup invited anyone who was interested to the lake for a little camping trip. Hijinks ensue!

Early on the ninth, Hiccup broadcast a short message to the journal reminding everyone about the camping trip he had planned for the weekend. The message was simple: pack your things, meet at noon in the plaza, and then they'd trek to the southern lake where they would make camp for the night. It would be chilly, but with a dragon in tow and clear skies, how bad could it be? Hiccup flies out to the lake early on the tenth to transport some camping supplies including extra tents, blankets, sleeping bags and tarps, as well as some food, before heading back to meet his fellow campers.

At the campsite itself, campers can expect to find such things including (but not limited to): fishing poles, cooking equipment (and ingredients), marshmallows, board games, card games, various sports equipment, harmonicas, et cetera. And Hiccup will definitely be trying to round everyone up for at least one round of storytelling around the fire sometime during the evening. Basically, anything campy (pun intended) can go on here. Have fun with it!

Here goes one of Hiccup's rare attempts to be a social planner. Let's see if it sinks or swims!

[Hiccup notices he hasn't really moved for awhile, so...he heads over after a few minutes.]

Heeeeeey - Roku? Everything okay there? [Bro it's just a tent.]

[Making tents iz haaard]

Wha-? [Hiccup snaps him out of snooze mode and he looks up to Hiccup, slightly confused and dazed. What was he...oh.] Oh! Yea I just...fell asleep.

Oh - you were asleep? [Whoops. Maybe he should have let him keep napping. Though that wasn't exactly the point of camping.] S-sorry. Did you need some help with your tent?

[flameoroku]

Ah-hah don't apologize. I didn't mean to fall asleep. [He yawns.]

I wouldn't mind a little bit of help. I don't have as much experience when it comes to camping.

[dragoneer]

[Hiccup moves closer to the tent to survey the bundle of poles and canvas.] Oh yeah? We did it pretty often back where I'm from.

[flameoroku]

It was never really a necessity back home. More like just a hobby. [Roku is going to pick up a pole now, puzzling over it.]

The most camping I've ever done, was after I came here.

[dragoneer]

Really? So you've had other chances to camp here before?

[flameoroku]

Like two years ago, when I was here the first time. I vaguely remember me and Sokka went camping.

[dragoneer]

Really? Wow, that's a pretty long time ago. [No wonder he doesn't know how to set up a tent.]

[flameoroku]

Haha, yea just a bit. [He's going to...place this pole here and...the fabric goes here?]

Long enough for me to forget how to do this. [he says with a sheepish grin.]

[dragoneer]

You're on the right track, at least. I think it's easiest to hammer the stakes in a little to get the tent in place, and then really hit them into the ground so it won't blow away or something.

[flameoroku]

Right. That...['cuse him as he takes a moment to yawn.] That makes sense...

[He picks up a hammer nearby and...] Can you help me with this? My hands aren't too steady for this.

[dragoneer]

[Well, he's not very strong, but he does have steady hands, so.] Yeah, sure. Want me to hold the stake in place ooooor hammer it in?
