[Brooke narrowly avoids being hit straight in the face, but it still hits his shoulder as he ducks.]

All's fair in love, war, and water balloon fights! Besides, I'm a pirate, we almost never fight fair! Yohohoho!

[He's backing up slightly now, throwing a few more, fairly certain his surprise counter attack is over.]

Well you should! Or at least warn people that you're already dead!

[Because that's what freake her out the most! But the surprise counter attack is not over. In fact, her ninja instincts kick in, and she actually catches one of the balloons, and throws it back as she tries to duck behind a tree.]

[Brook is impressed when she catches one of his balloons, and he throws another balloon to block the shot, exploding both in midair.]

But that would ruin the surprise! Yohohoho! You're still pretty good my ninja foe!

[This time when Brook lobs a water balloon at Yuffie, he also throws a small stick after it even harder to make sure it pops before contact, to bounce off the balloon mid-flight.]

You haven't seen a thing yet!

[Yuffie has no qualms with dodging such a thing the second before it explodes. Yeah, there's some on her, but she throws one just after his explodes, hidden behind the colorful water.]

[Brook's not sure what she means, until a balloon shoots forth from the watery explosion.]

... Clever girl.

[SPLAT right in the eye sockets! Brook starts spitting out colored food dye water and paint.]

You know, I think the thing I miss most sometimes is being able to blink! Yohohoho!

[Brook retaliates with a curve ball throw of his water balloon, to make it seem like he was going to hit her, when he was really aiming for where he thought she'd dodge to.]

Maybe...maybe sunglasses could help.

[Because that? It's kinda creeping her out. But he is right, she dodges right into the damn thing, looking very unamused..]

You'll only get away with that once I hope you know...

Hey! That's not a bad idea!

[Cue Brook pulling out his sweet rock star shades]

Yohohoho! Will I now? Perhaps we should see if you're right!

[He throws a water balloon... except this time he makes it look like he's trying to curve it, only he's throwing it straight at her instead... MIND GAMES!]

I hope you know that you are strange, and creepy!

[She'll see that throw, and instead of dodging to the side, she's going for a high jump!]

[Brook whistles at that jump, rather impressed by her ninja-y skills, and is about to return fire when...]

You... think I'm strange and creepy?

[Well now he's just sad.]

[Well she's just hang there for a bit.]

Yeah, you're a talking skeleton that is now wearing odd sunglasses...

[Well now he's just gonna sulk a bit... He always thought the sunglasses were cool.]

[She's not quite sure if she should feel bad or not...]

Well...you have to admit it's pretty different.

But that's the idea of being a star... to shine differently and brighter than any other star.

Truly, I have a dream that one day all the world shall smile and be happy, and my contribution to that effort is through song!

[Alright...she's managed to stumble upon a very strange skeleton, and has no idea how to respond to such a speech.

It's hard to make Yuffie speechless, but it has just been done.]

SURPRISE ATTACK! [Brook pulls out more water balloons to continue the war!]

[See, strange and creepy!

But, down she goes as she lets go of the branch she had been hanging on, throwing a few of her own balloons!]

Why does every pirate yell out before they attack?!

It's more fun that way. Really, you should try it some time.

[Brook ducks down, diving into a roll in the grass.]

You know, I was honestly hoping we could be friends after all this, because you seem like you're a fun young lady. But I guess I'm a bit too weird for you aye? Yohohoho!

[Brook throws one well above her in the tree, hoping to let it splash down on her instead. He was down to his last two water balloons now.]

If I did that, all sorts of bad things could happen.

[No use in dodging just a splash, but she'll throw her last two at him, hoping that with either way he'll roll, one should get him.]

I don't see why not, I do know weirder people than you!

That's why I developed an attack that doesn't look like an attack, and you announce it afterwards, right before they feel the effects of it!

[Of course trying to say all that while dodging didn't exactly work so well, so he managed to roll in just the wrong way to be hit by both.]]

Aww man! You sure are a crafty little ninja, I'll grant you that.

[He stands off trying to brush himself off, keeping his two water balloons he hadn't thrown for back up. One in his skull, and one in his right leg.]

Well since we're both out, shall we call it a truce and head back for more? Yohohoho! You know you should introduce me to these weirder people of yours sometime. It would be nice to know what I'm being compared to.

Alright, that's pretty sneaky.

[Awesome! That worked out twice as well as she expected! She'll just try to wring out some colored water from her hair. Thank goodness she has dark hair, or this would look like the worst dye job ever.]

You know, I would, but they aren't here.

[Brook is inclined to do something similar with his afro, except he just sort of lets it bounce out instead. Ah, the advantages of springy afro hair. Fortunately he also has dark hair, otherwise the dye job might make him look like a rainbow haired killer clown or something.]

Oh. That would make it a bit challenging, now wouldn't it? I guess that means I get to be your weirdest friend you've got here. Yohohoho!
