Summary: It's Thanksgiving. There's a meal and socializing. Also fun.
Rating: PG, PG-13 max? A kid got invited to this.
Considering how last minute all of this had been, Pepper was actually pretty satisfied with how things were turning out. Rogue had shown up early with helpers in tow, immediately setting to work in the kitchen. The house had been filled with delicious aromas shortly thereafter, and Pepper busied herself with the other details until guests started to arrive--at which point part of her job became keeping people out of the kitchen, per Rogue's orders.

The set up was straightforward: the dining room table was used to hold the assorted dishes, where people could fix themselves plates. A similar set up with drinks (although please, don't give alcohol to the children). Chairs set out for people to sit, since there were too many to even attempt a traditional sit down dinner. But that was fine by Pepper, who made her way through the group, making sure everyone was happy, or at least not destroying part of her house.

Better safe than sorry, with this crowd.

There will come a filled ladle, hovering precariously over Tony's bowl of cereal, in the hands of smugly smirking teen mutant.

"Gravy?"

Tony looks up from his bowl of cereal, eyebrow raised. Don't you even think about it.

"Aim six inches to the left, and you're golden." Six inches to the left happens to be where his turkey is. "You wouldn't ruin a perfectly good bowl of cereal, would you?"

"It would be so, so easy," he teased with some slight swaying of the ladle, before he sighed. "But I'm a mild-mannered prankster, not a felon." So the ladle moves out of cerealville and over to turkeytown, followed by the gravy drop.

"Good man. I would have hated to get on my suit and throw you out of here for such a thoughtless crime."

Which was not a joke. Don't mess with the Cookie Crisp.

"So I should be thankful for not breaking Tony's Law?" And he can't but look between the cereal and the turkey after returning the ladle to its proper resting place. "Don't the tastes clash?"

He tapped his glass with his spoon between bites of cereal. "That's what the alcohol is for."

He look towards the glass with a sly smirk. "So that's the key to fully-balanced Thanksgiving dinner."

"It's the key to every fully-balanced dinner, my friend."

"So... how's about I complete mine?"

"Please. Be my guest. Be sure and let Pepper know you enjoyed your bowl of cereal."

"Right, right. The cereal, yes. A definite necessity." He nodded, but then gave a fake cough. "But... What if I need to wash it down with something?"

He shrugged. "I think we've got some apple juice in the fridge. Be my guest."

"Come on, Tony!"

"What? I said you could help yourself to some apple juice."

"I'm thinking more apple cider. The... hard version."

"You want me to hit you in the head with the bottle?"

"Only if you try that for yourself first and tell me how that tastes." He shakes his head. "But no, Tony. I'll have what you're having."

He gets a flat look. "Now, what kind of positive adult role model would I be if I encouraged that?"

"Only the coolest kind," he said with an attempt at an indifferent shrug.

"The Anti-Drug people would be my case faster than lightning."

"They would? But what would I be doing with drugs when my hands are full with alcohol?"

"Giving me a bad rep. And not the good kind of bad rep."

"No one's even going to know."

"Until you drunk-swagger all over the place because you're a lightweight."

"You don't know that! I'm German. We can hold our liquor."
