Summary: It's Thanksgiving. There's a meal and socializing. Also fun.
Rating: PG, PG-13 max? A kid got invited to this.
Considering how last minute all of this had been, Pepper was actually pretty satisfied with how things were turning out. Rogue had shown up early with helpers in tow, immediately setting to work in the kitchen. The house had been filled with delicious aromas shortly thereafter, and Pepper busied herself with the other details until guests started to arrive--at which point part of her job became keeping people out of the kitchen, per Rogue's orders.

The set up was straightforward: the dining room table was used to hold the assorted dishes, where people could fix themselves plates. A similar set up with drinks (although please, don't give alcohol to the children). Chairs set out for people to sit, since there were too many to even attempt a traditional sit down dinner. But that was fine by Pepper, who made her way through the group, making sure everyone was happy, or at least not destroying part of her house.

Better safe than sorry, with this crowd.

At being caught, Teddy freezes in the middle of bringing a spoonful of the stuff to his mouth, shoulders raised and open mouth clicking shut in a cringe. Even though Tony did bring the cereal, Teddy was kind of hoping no one would notice him indulging in cereal at a big Thanksgiving dinner.

But, well. Tony's probably the safest person to catch him, especially considering what he said. Teddy lowers his spoon as a result; might as well talk while letting the cereal do what it does best and make some chocolate milk for the end.

"Really? I'm the Cookie Crisp type? It's good, but it was kind of too mild for me when I was a kid." That and, come on. Chocolate milk at the end. That's awesome.

Teddy is now his cereal conspirator. Who wouldn't want that?

"Too mild? It's cookies. Not Cheerios." God, how did people even eat Cheerios? Honey Nut notwithstanding.

"God, don't even mention Cheerios." Teddy says with an eyeroll; guess who had a mother who thought it'd be best to give him the healthy stuff as a child? Still, it's a fond memory, one that causes a little twinge in his chest that he'd much rather get rid of. "Besides, cookies in milk's got nothing on chocolate in milk."

"Oh, I see, you're one of those cereal eaters." Tony knows such things because of all the cereal eaters he associates with on a regular basis, apparently. "Eat the cereal first, drink the milk at the end, right?"
