Happy Happy Turkey Day
Who: Marvel people plus friends. I'm not even attempting to make this list out.
What: Marvelsgiving!
When: November 22, 2012
Where: House 49
Summary: It's Thanksgiving. There's a meal and socializing. Also fun.
Rating: PG, PG-13 max? A kid got invited to this.
Considering how last minute all of this had been, Pepper was actually pretty satisfied with how things were turning out. Rogue had shown up early with helpers in tow, immediately setting to work in the kitchen. The house had been filled with delicious aromas shortly thereafter, and Pepper busied herself with the other details until guests started to arrive--at which point part of her job became keeping people out of the kitchen, per Rogue's orders.
The set up was straightforward: the dining room table was used to hold the assorted dishes, where people could fix themselves plates. A similar set up with drinks (although please, don't give alcohol to the children). Chairs set out for people to sit, since there were too many to even attempt a traditional sit down dinner. But that was fine by Pepper, who made her way through the group, making sure everyone was happy, or at least not destroying part of her house.
Better safe than sorry, with this crowd.
(ooc: post! mingle! include whatever dish your character brought for the potluck and wait for them to be judged. and as always, have fun.)

"Hey, I didn't know you were coming." His lip quirks into a smile. "And in civvies, too. I half-expected a mask, or sunglasses or something."
Knowing the other Robin's penchant for always hiding his eyes...

"Me, either. Kinda last minute." But he's totally not party crashing, he was legitimately invited! Really! He smirks at his comment about the mask. "Something tells me I won't hear the end of it for not hiding my face. I mean, I haven't been to a whole lot of Thanksgiving parties, but I kind of got the feeling it wasn't appropriate."
He didn't know a lot of the people here, so what was there to hide? Of course, Jason's always been known for not exactly playing by the rules, either.

In or out of costume- though if he's in costume, Billy has to make sure he has a good chuckle at his expense on top of some glowering. He's still mad at Robin #1 for kidnapping Teddy, after all.

Being Robin was important to Jason, too, but it just seemed like too much! He has wondered on more than one occasion how the heck Dick ends up being the likeable, friendly guy he is in the future.

He smiles a bit knowingly; fellow teenagers are allowed to be ironic about their own stereotypes, okay. He'll definitely have to keep an eye out for Robin now, though. Wouldn't want to accidentally bump into him unprepared. (Or get kidnapped again. Apparently that was a thing he liked to do.)

Not to mention super powers at the dinner table, he's willing to bet.

And then again, if you look good in spandex, you might as well wear the heck out of it, right?

Not that phone booths are all that prevalent anymore, since everyone and their dog has a cell phone. Still, the reference is a classic.
