Summary: It's Thanksgiving. There's a meal and socializing. Also fun.
Rating: PG, PG-13 max? A kid got invited to this.
Considering how last minute all of this had been, Pepper was actually pretty satisfied with how things were turning out. Rogue had shown up early with helpers in tow, immediately setting to work in the kitchen. The house had been filled with delicious aromas shortly thereafter, and Pepper busied herself with the other details until guests started to arrive--at which point part of her job became keeping people out of the kitchen, per Rogue's orders.

The set up was straightforward: the dining room table was used to hold the assorted dishes, where people could fix themselves plates. A similar set up with drinks (although please, don't give alcohol to the children). Chairs set out for people to sit, since there were too many to even attempt a traditional sit down dinner. But that was fine by Pepper, who made her way through the group, making sure everyone was happy, or at least not destroying part of her house.

Better safe than sorry, with this crowd.

Well, that's a good point (the hat and the harvesting, anyway), but it still feels strange. "...Um, corn doesn't grow on trees either." He notices Loki's waver, though, and the matter of cereal versus turkey is forgotten. "Hey, are you okay?"

"Corn grows on plants," Loki replies before bringing the cup to his lips again. "Am I correct to assume that this liquid is the Midgardian version of mead?"

Of course they also have mead on Midgard, but still...

"Your worry about my wellbeing is very touching and even more appreciated but...I am fine."

"...Mead?" Billy's eyes widen, zeroing in on the glass. Now that he's paying attention, he can smell it on Loki's breath. "Who gave you alcohol?"

Unless he's been raiding Tony's booze cabinet... which for some reason sounds more likely.

"Ah yes, alcohol, or booze. You call this booze right? Or 'chrystal' like the Midgardian rappers do. They always sip on bottles of 'chrystal' and boast about it.

Yet, that 'chrystal' looks more like mead in fancy bottles than actual 'chrystal'. It boggles the mind..."

Loki strokes his chin.

"...How much have you had?" He had no idea gods could get drunk, but Loki obviously seems affected by it one way or another. Should he be worried? Maybe he should get an adult... or Teddy. Someone more responsible than him.

"This cup, and I believe there was another cup as well. But I emptied it," Loki spoke while peering into tis cup, finally moving to drink the last bit in one go. "And that makes two cups."

At least Loki isn't slurring like a very drunk person. But he sure feels dizzy.

Yeah, it's really starting to show. "That's probably enough, unless you want to throw up turkey all over Pepper's floor. You look like you're hitting your limit."

Not that he's well-versed in the art of identifying drunken behaviour - that's more Teddy's forte, he actually used to get invited to parties - but sometimes it's just obvious.

Loki puts the empty cup back on the table...oh wait, it drops next to the table. Strange because really, he had put it on the table. He watches the cup on the ground for a moment, blinking.

"Throw up? Vomit?" Loki shakes his head firmly. "I won't vomit, that is so very, very gross. What makes you think I will vomit? I look rather well. Look at me, all of this is looking very, very well. Extremely very well."

He isn't really noticing that he is being really incoherent right now.

Oh wow, he really is wasted, isn't he. Billy gives Loki a skeptical look - making a mental note never to get drunk, if this is how ridiculous it really does make you behave - and crouches down to set the cup on the table properly. It's empty, yes, but Pepper wouldn't like alcohol dribbling onto the carpet. ...And he's the housekeeper, kind of, so he wouldn't particularly like it, either.

"Uh-huh. Extremely very well." He makes a face; that actually hurt his brain a little bit to say. "But can you touch your finger to your nose?"

Loki blinks at Billy's question and nods afterwards, as if it suddenly makes complete sense . "Ah! Oh! You wish to test my hand-eye coordination, yes? So you can determine how intoxicated I am. That is a very Midgardian thing to do."

So Loki touches his nose with his hand instead of his finger.

"See? There is nothing wrong with my hand-eye coordination."

"...Well, I'll give you an A for effort. But you were supposed to use your finger."

He's not sure he should really be nitpicking here, but it's amusing, so Loki can deal with it. He's the one who got himself drunk, after all. Speaking of which, though-

"So, where exactly did you find the alcohol?"

Loki rolls his eyes. "Aye, aye, my finger. I am not so very fond of A's for effort, I rather get A's for results." So Loki uses his finger this time. Instead of hitting the front of his nose he hits the bridge of his nose. "See? Aplus hand-eye coordination."

At the second question he points at the table.

"The red bowl."
