It's early, the sun's barely risen at all, and Perona's freezing. She's been curled up in her bed for at least an hour now, shaking and grumbling and trying desperately to get warm with her abundance of covers, stuffed animals, and pillows, but no. She's still really fucking cold. And doesn't know why - it shouldn't be this cold, right? Yesterday it was a fairly mild chill, nothing like this! It's terribly annoying, and she can't get a decent rest. Ugh, she is so done with this place and it's damn tricks.
Fuck. She has no other choice though, does she? Swearing under her breath, Perona grabs her pillow and comforter and makes a beeline right for Mihawk's room across from hers. She lets herself in without a care, then stalks to the shichibukai's bedroom like an angry smilodon and flops right next to him. He can complain, glare, and growl all he wants, SHE AINT GOIN' NO WHERE.
Though once she wakes up properly (and peels herself off Mihawk/her source of warm body heat) and heads out to do her usual activities...Perona finds out why it was so cold out. Ice Age is where she's been thrust into. Thankfully, she did get a few thick coats and other winter wear earlier, but...ugh. So done. So fucking done.]
Can't believe--...what a wicked sort of trick... If I become ill from this, I swear I'll blow a hole into those fools' thick skulls!
[Day 2 onward
It's been hard going back to her apartment at the end of the day. Very hard, actually. Perona's accustomed to the cold - it was plenty cold in the body freezers on Thriller Bark - but having to live in the equivalent of one is not something she'll tolerate for longer than necessary, thanks. So, she'll be sticking mainly to Gangland in this nice little outfit (the dollar signs are replaced with skulls) where she'll be enjoying some good drinks and shopping and the turmoil and suffering of the stupid and the drunk.
She'll also pop into Shogunate for a spell, mainly to get some good herbal tea, pretty clothes, and some foods. Mostly when she's sick of the smog in Gangland she'll go to the fresh air and tranquility of the fuedal area. The Nile, also, will hold her interest quite a bit, if only for the abundance of treasures all ripe and ready for plucking. ♥ How fun that she can go into the tombs and temples and palaces in her ghost form and not risk injury at all, heehee~!]
