The Nile had been little more than a parody of every stereotype that existed in film--he didn't expect the 'ice age' to be any different.
It was. The cold went deeper than the blizzards that chilled him to the bone, and not even the thick wool or the furred cape of his new 'costume' was sufficient to keep him properly warm.
He futily tried to call upon the fragments he was picking up from Eferin to at least keep himself warm, but he was too distracted to focus properly.
