[This was the 3rd message. Or rather, it was the third one since he recovered from his kidnapping. There had been 5 more before that -- one sent each day since the new year, up until he was taken by the droids. Naturally that little fact was left out of the messages. They never said too much, and in truth, this one wasn't very different from the others.]
Hello Kohan.
I hope you aren't getting too bothered by this, but I stopped by your house again today. You weren't home.
[There's always a pause. It's not quite as evident in the later messages, given only the first one was voiced. He never knows quite what to write after that.]
I'll try again some other time.
[And as with the last few times, he waits for a reply first. Maybe this time he would respond? He certainly wasn't getting anywhere by walking around the village looking for him. And even if he did find him, who's to say he'd even want to talk to him after what happened between them?]
