but ah, poor miss faith. a lady of quality in a land that might as well be an revolutionary's ideal france, for all it dripped in fraternity and equality. as such, he found he pitied the young woman. the gutterborn could shine in a place like this, while the gentle stumbled. ]


They take some getting used to. But many are worth it. Though -- there are some I fear I'll never understand.
