For the first time a in a while, a New Feather Party is taking place! Everyone has been working hard, making sure that everything is ready for the big day. The school cafeteria is decorated with streamers, some spring flowers and a hand-painted Welcome banner, placed right where everyone can see it. Most of the foods are simple party snacks: cakes, cookies, sandwiches and the like. However, Rin has hauled over a grill and is providing some cooked foods.

The most important part is the booths. The various organizations in Luceti have been invited to set up booths and tables in order to recruit new members and to inform the new feathers of their existence. There's even a general information booth, run by Marita Covarrubias, so New Feathers can ask any questions they have about Luceti. After all, when adjusting to a new place, information about your surroundings is the most important thing!

Near the end of the party, once it's a little darker out, there's even a small fireworks show. It's a nice way a party. After all, who doesn't like fireworks?

Helios will respond by shifting to look at the new arrival. He hasn't seen you around before so he'll give a soft nod.

"Yes that's correct. I received both of them from the Malnosso as-as gifts." He'll pause before Luminair squeaks happily in his position from Helios' lap.

"You can pet him if you want, he won't bite."

"It is all right, I just was curious if they were different aspects of you, part of your magic or something else."

Ah no. They're on their own. I-I didn't summon them or anything like that. Luminair and Maggir were presents given to me by two very good friends of mine.

"Oh, I see. I was just curious if this was your magic."

There's all sorts of that here, magic I mean. Are you, ah, familiar with it then in-in your world?

"I was born of it."

Well that gets a very intrigued look from Helios. Elizabeth certainly didn't look any different than a human. She was far too detailed to be some sort of golem but a homoculus could work, those were the most humanoid creations Helios as ever seen made by magic. While he's pondering he'll definitely be staring at the young woman with a thoughtful, inquiring, look. It's not one filled with disgust or fear or anything like that, just...very blatant curiosity.

Luminair will chirp to get Helios' attention and he'll blink a slight flush appearing on his cheeks as he realizes that he had been staring all the while.

"Oh! I-I apologize. I didn't mean to stare like that. You said you're...made of it, magic I mean. How-how so?"
