[He's frantically trying to put out the fire, but because he hasn't gotten a handle on these new powers he keeps making the matter worse. There's a nice hole in the wall now, which he has to dive through to get to some fire that's spreading to the bedrooms and putting that out with a few high-powered air attacks, generated from his ki. But then he touches something else in his rage and it catches fire...
Great, he turns around to check the status of the other side which he is considering just blasting to pieces, maybe just blasting the entire kitchen to pieces. Though that will also make it worse more than likely.
