[With Faeren possessing the boy came two major changes: the size of his wings, and the ability to use magic. The sudden, drastic change in the size of his wings is enough to catch Rudy off-guard when he wakes. Unknown to the boy, however, this new presence residing in him is influencing him in ways he's not even aware.
Now, Rudy for the most part is still himself. Faeren's influence at first isn't nearly strong enough to disrupt his daily activities. But the spirit's influence, although faint, is definitely present and manifests itself in very subtle ways. For one, it feels like everyone seems a bit more... intimidating. Those possessed by Eferin, however? A lot more intimidating. Even those with an association for fire in general is enough to make the boy uneasy. And the influence just grows stronger as the days go on, with Rudy growing more and more wary of others.
The ability to use magic however, as he later discovers, is something more curious to the boy. He'd never been too good at it himself, yet now he finds he's able to use it at ease. Naturally, he can't resist the urge to try it out. In particular, he'll be drawn to places with an abundance of plant life-- places such as the flower shop, gardens, or even the Memory Garden itself. And later on, the farmlands. It's a very relaxing feeling, using his new-found magic to nourish and nurse plants.]
