curiositykills: Nightwing: Year One (while cast into the nothingness)

[Even in Luceti, Jason wasn't a particularly heavy sleeper. Sometimes, it was lame, but most of the time, he could appreciate it. Kind of like right now. It's only around four in the morning when he wakes up to discover that Luceti isn't quite Luceti anymore. He's in a bed that isn't his own, a room that isn't his own, and— no wings? That's weird. Way weird. But he doesn't think for a second that he's back in Gotham. This is weird, and he remembers Luceti all too clearly. Definitely not Gotham.

Jason does what any good, upstanding citizen would do and digs through the bedside table's drawers for clues, but there's nothing that tells him where he is. Time to look elsewhere, then. So he slips out of bed and lurks through the home, but nothing is familiar.

It's while he's looking around that he spots a stranger sleeping on the couch. At first, he doesn't want to wake them, but as he gets closer, he realizes that it isn't actually a stranger at all. He throws caution to the wind and puts a hand on the other boy's shoulder, shaking him softly. His voice is even quiet when he says his name, just in case.]

Robin?

[He didn't think too much of the lack of costume. (It's probably just an aesthetic thing, something to match the environment.) But it is kind of weird that Dick isn't already awake, now that he thinks about it.]
