chikaidestroyer: (Quite unimpressed)

[Even before he climbs out of bed, Albert realizes that something is different. His furniture is different, his belongings are different, and-- Well, a quick check of his back revealed that his wings were missing. After living for so long with those extra appendages, their sudden disappearance was both strange and disturbing, and he's still thinking about them as he exits what he can only guess is supposed to be his bedroom.

He pays closer attention to his surroundings once outside of his room, careful and cautious as he glances into one open room into what appears to be a study or office. He continues past closed doors, wanting to take a moment by himself to examine the house before awakening his housemate. ...If Raine was still in the house, with a Shift like this.

---

After his bizarre first morning in the house, Albert attempts to do research on what's going on by going through his study and flipping through papers and his journal. The owner of a malt shop in an excellent location to cater to the school kids of Luceti, with apparently the passion and drive to man it himself before to he could hire workers.

...He has a slight headache by the time he's interrupted by a call over the journal from someone he doesn't recognize who is apparently a manager at his shop, and he manages to get through the conversation by saying that he will be in the shop eventually.

From August 2 to 4, he can be found walking the streets of "historic Luceti" or catching public transportation to catch glimpses of Lowtown and Hightown after spending some time each day in the malt shop (mostly in the back office). This was a very extensive Shift, and the names of certain buildings highly suspect. Trying to maintain some semblance of normal would prove difficult, considering how kind and friendly his ... other self was supposed to be.

---

On day 4 of the Shift change (August 5), Albert awakens to find himself in the asylum after a harrowing evening. The asylum reminds him too much of the remnants of memory he had of his abductions, back when Count Zompano was in charge of Luceti and heading the experiments done on residents... A chill runs down his spine when he hears screaming in the distance.

Needless to say, he's pretty sure he hates this experiment now.]
