Ami can definitely sympathize with looking for the strings after a childhood of people only wanting to know her because she was one of the Mizuno daughters, and even if she was the younger of the two, that was worth noticing and trying to get close to.

But there are no strings here. She nods, and even finds a smile as Robert seems so grateful.

"It'll be better if you have it," she assures him with friendly logic, "since you'll use it so much." Books should most definitely be shared, used, and appreciated as much as possible. It'd be selfish of her to keep it on a shelf, likely gathering dust, when someone would use it.
