She doesn't mock him for it, because she loves imagination and fantasy, too. But clearly that's all magic is... right?

"It'd certainly make things simpler," Ami agrees. "I wonder what life would become like if everything was that easy and everyone had so much more leisure time."

Judging from her own habits, copious amounts of free time would probably mean... even more work done in the same amount. But for the time being, it's a fun mental exercise.

"I was just looking today," she says, "unless you have some recent books on Economics." With the way things are going in the town lately, it might be useful to study the broader issues and implications.
