"You'll thank me by studying it diligently," Ami lets Robert off the hook entirely. She slips a bookmark into her own book, relieving the finger she'd been marking her place with of its duty, and starts to stand up.

"If you'd like, we can go to get it right away." There's no time like the present, and anyway with Robert so enthusiastic, she can't help catching a little of that same eagerness.
