Indeed there was. The Shift Hunter followed the soldiers as it was beckoned, but whenever they stopped, its head would turn north to the center of the camp. It seemed intently interested in there and this seemed to annoy the soldiers, as they'd have to prod it gently with the tips of their gun to remind it to follow them.
