What: A wedding and reception
When: Sept 14, All Day
Where: Cherry Blossom Hill / The Battle Dome
Summary: Pepper and Tony are getting married finally officially finally.
Rating: PG/PG-13 max? There's at least one kid here.
The decorations on the hill are simple ones; they've chosen this spot because it's naturally beautiful without the need for embellishments. Chairs have been set up for the expected guests, with a clear path laid out for the wedding party. And of course up front there is a place for those people to stand, in sight of everyone gathered so Tony won't be able to tell Pepper "I told you so" as color commentary won't be necessary.

After the ceremony everyone will be invited to go to the Battle Dome for the reception. There Tony's programmed an expansive hall with tables and seating enough for everyone. There's also a dance floor, which everyone is encouraged to take advantage of. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, clearly intended to help all in attendance have a good time. Dinner will be served, and there's an open bar, with rum by request of the officiant.

Just don't get too rowdy, okay kids?

Tony will also get a hug around the waist. Enjoy your attached airbender, Mr. Stark. "Tony Tony Tony Tony! I think Pepper does so look like a princess today."

[alloys]

He patted her a little awkwardly on the head, before setting his hand on her shoulder. "This is the one day she can get away with it. But you're right - she does look like a princess."

He would even concede that.

[breezing]

There's a little blink of surprise - apparently she'd expected him to argue, although she grins immediately after. "Yep! But she's still a business lady, so it's okay right?"

Although princesses are still more awesome, she'll concede that business women can be pretty cool, too. And they probably get cars, so maybe they even win! "Does she have a car?"

[alloys]

"Always. She's a princess of business. A queen, actually, considering she runs the company."

But that was neither here nor there. Tony was more than happy to talk about cars. "She absolutely does. She even has someone to drive her anywhere she wants to go."

[breezing]

"But she gets to drive them herself if she wants to, right? Daddy never let me drive the car Korra got that one time for real because he said I wasn't old enough and we were sending it back anyway." It was the biggest tragedy ever, clearly. How could he.

[alloys]

"Of course. She can do whatever she wants." You gotta deal with it. "Tell you what - if we ever get cars around here? I'll personally teach you how to drive."

...He really should stop making promises like this, lest he have to fulfill them.

[breezing]

"You will?" You know, Tony, someday there will be at least one car in Luceti. Someday.

And on that day you will wake up with Ikki on your doorstep, ringing your doorbell.

[alloys]

"Sure thing. Everyone should know how to drive. It's a goddamn god-given right."

He glanced down at the kid. "...Don't repeat that to your grandpa."

[breezing]

"Why? Is he not allowed to drive?" Is it for girls only?

[alloys]

Well, as long as she wasn't parroting curse words, he would sweep it under the rug. "Never mind. He can drive, too. But I'm not teaching him."

[breezing]

"Why not? Do you like me better? Do you even know my grandpa?"

[alloys]

"Only that he's flaming. Apparently. And has an arrow on his head. Where's your arrow, short stop?"

[breezing]

"Like a Hotman?" She's not sure if that's 'flameo' popping up or something. "And I'm not a master airbender yet, so I don't have one. But when I do I want to get something cool."

[alloys]

"Something like that." But he knew what he heard. "So - not arrows? Because, let's be honest. They're not very cool."

[breezing]

"They're supposed to show the flow of energy! But...I kinda want, like, RAINBOWS." She says this like it's a big secret.

[alloys]

"Really," he deadpanned. "I would have never pinned you for a rainbow fan."

[breezing]

"Really?" Ikki loos completely surprised by this revelation. "But I talk about them all the time!!"

[alloys]

Yeah, he's going to roll with it. "So? People obsess over things they hate, too. I thought you hated rainbows."

[breezing]

"I don't!!! I LOVE them! If anyone says I didn't they're LYING. Rainbows are the best because they use ALL the colors and they're so pretty and the next time we get one I'm going to fly up and touch it!!!" She will be so disappointed when she can't.

[alloys]

"And what then? I mean, it sounds like your life could kind of culminate at rainbow-touching." Gotta have a back-up plan, Ikki.

[breezing]

"Then I'm going to get a flying castle! Or make one." That will take her at least a lifetime.

[alloys]

"Gotta hand it to you, kid. You plan big. Good for you."

[breezing]

"Wouldn't it be boring if I didn't?"

[alloys]

"I knew there was a reason I liked you."

[breezing]

"Because I'm FUN?"
