What: A wedding and reception

Where: Cherry Blossom Hill / The Battle Dome
Summary: Pepper and Tony are getting married finally officially finally.
Rating: PG/PG-13 max? There's at least one kid here.
The decorations on the hill are simple ones; they've chosen this spot because it's naturally beautiful without the need for embellishments. Chairs have been set up for the expected guests, with a clear path laid out for the wedding party. And of course up front there is a place for those people to stand, in sight of everyone gathered so Tony won't be able to tell Pepper "I told you so" as color commentary won't be necessary.

After the ceremony everyone will be invited to go to the Battle Dome for the reception. There Tony's programmed an expansive hall with tables and seating enough for everyone. There's also a dance floor, which everyone is encouraged to take advantage of. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, clearly intended to help all in attendance have a good time. Dinner will be served, and there's an open bar, with rum by request of the officiant.

Just don't get too rowdy, okay kids?

Do they? That seems a little too Oedipal. [Vastra leads him to the floor with a little chuckle.]

I don't know. I never got into psychology.

[Max just laughs as she leads him out onto the floor.]

It's literature, Max! [Vastra gives a little 'my son is hopeless' laugh and assumes the waltz position with Max.]

[Max falls into position easily. He has actually been trained in how to waltz so it's hardly something new for him.]

Oh! Not a fan of Freud? Heh, not that psychology is my forte. I was a history student. And magic of course.

[eversohungry]

Who? [Vastra raised her eyebrow curiously. Though she's glad that Max doesn't need to be taught how to waltz and they can actually talk as they dance.]

He was a psychologist. Came up with something called the Oedipus complex. It was all pretty weird honestly.

[eversohungry]

Oh please. [Vastra rolls her eyes.]</small. Oedipus Rex was written in 429 B.C.E. Saying anyone 'came up' with the Oedipus complex is akin to saying I invented trees.

Yeah, you say that, but there are creatures in my world that actually would say that. And it might actually be partly true.

[eversohungry]

Really now? You know creatures that invented trees? I had always thought they had done a splendid enough job of inventing themselves.

[abjurer]

Well, I've met creatures who kind of are tree spirits so take that as you will.
