What: A wedding and reception
When: Sept 14, All Day
Where: Cherry Blossom Hill / The Battle Dome
Summary: Pepper and Tony are getting married finally officially finally.
Rating: PG/PG-13 max? There's at least one kid here.
The decorations on the hill are simple ones; they've chosen this spot because it's naturally beautiful without the need for embellishments. Chairs have been set up for the expected guests, with a clear path laid out for the wedding party. And of course up front there is a place for those people to stand, in sight of everyone gathered so Tony won't be able to tell Pepper "I told you so" as color commentary won't be necessary.

After the ceremony everyone will be invited to go to the Battle Dome for the reception. There Tony's programmed an expansive hall with tables and seating enough for everyone. There's also a dance floor, which everyone is encouraged to take advantage of. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, clearly intended to help all in attendance have a good time. Dinner will be served, and there's an open bar, with rum by request of the officiant.

Just don't get too rowdy, okay kids?

"He doesn't?" Cassie should've known, but she was being selfish and too consumed with her own problems to even think about anyone else's. Guilt was taking over. "I'm sorry I didn't ask. Are you two getting along now though?"

Suddenly, she's so, so relieved Cassie showed up when she did. The less people who know about that whole her and Clint thing from the shift, the better.

"Yeah. We get along fine. He even has Lucky here."

"Lucky?" Cassie was slightly confused. She figured it was a pet, but she doesn't remember Clint having a pet. "I don't think I know Lucky."

[tryit]

"He's the one eyed dog that sometimes follows Clint around. Or me. He - my Clint - rescued him a few weeks before..."

Before he had successfully talked Kate back into being a superhero.

Well, "Before I started working for him."

"YEAH! I've been meaning to ask. What about the Young Avengers? Are you still part of the team? Clint hasn't stolen you away has he?"

What can she say? That the Young Avengers fell apart after Cassie's death? That they all walked away from the calling for over a year and a half? God, she never should have brought this up to begin with.

"Of course," she lies, hoping that it's a lie easily brought. "There's no way I'd ever abandon you guys."

At least the last part is true.
