What: A wedding and reception
When: Sept 14, All Day
Where: Cherry Blossom Hill / The Battle Dome
Summary: Pepper and Tony are getting married finally officially finally.
Rating: PG/PG-13 max? There's at least one kid here.
The decorations on the hill are simple ones; they've chosen this spot because it's naturally beautiful without the need for embellishments. Chairs have been set up for the expected guests, with a clear path laid out for the wedding party. And of course up front there is a place for those people to stand, in sight of everyone gathered so Tony won't be able to tell Pepper "I told you so" as color commentary won't be necessary.

After the ceremony everyone will be invited to go to the Battle Dome for the reception. There Tony's programmed an expansive hall with tables and seating enough for everyone. There's also a dance floor, which everyone is encouraged to take advantage of. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, clearly intended to help all in attendance have a good time. Dinner will be served, and there's an open bar, with rum by request of the officiant.

Just don't get too rowdy, okay kids?

Oh Jack, you are by no means a little insect. [She smiles and takes his elbow.] Just a naked pink infant bird that I occasionally have to feed and keep in my very cluttered, but unique, nest.

. . . you know, I feel like I should probably be more offended by that?

[Jack's not exactly seamless in his movements - pretty much all of his dancing knowledge is by way of Bucky or Eugene and at best only a few years old, after all - but he settles into a position to lead as a new track, one from Eugene's collection, croons to life. He offers a little smirk, fluttering his wings out behind him.]

Though I do have some feathers, you know.

Oh do you? [Vastra pretends to be surprised by this revelation, takes a moment to lean over and look at Jack's wings and raise her eyebrows while she follows Jack's lead in the dancing.]

Goodness, so you do. So you are merely a nearly naked pink chick.

Yep! It'll be talons any day now.

[He gives one last little demonstrative slit, the folds them flat against his back again, stepping and swaying with the melody.]

Eugene might not be too happy about a beak, though. They seem inconvenient for kissing.

They do, rather. I would be glad if you would develop some talons though, I might not have to worry so much about you and him gallivanting off on a draft by yourselves.

We did all right on the draft! [As far as most people remaining in Luceti know, at least, and he likes keeping it that way.] And that shift, you saw how I managed with that sword you tossed at me.
