[This is Loki. He looks to be about nine or ten years old, misses his family, and wants to be just like his dad when he grows up. This will not be awkward at all later. He can do magic, yes, but he's only just begun to learn how and is a bit scared of it even if he finds it exhilarating.]
Day One: [Loki wakes up to find himself in a strange place, laying on a couch, with a book in his lap. All right, asleep with a book is actually fairly normal. Nothing else is, however. Including the comically large trousers he's wearing, and the fact that there are wings on his back.
Someone must have kidnapped him. He is a prince, after all. That's the sort of thing his father has warned him bad people might try to do. But where is Thor? Wouldn't he have been taken too? And if he has been kidnapped (what else could this be oh ouch these wings are uncomfortable) where are the guards.
He's scared, but he's also curious, smart, and extremely resourceful. He rolls up the trousers and manages to tie the front so they won't abandon him at a moment's notice, then sets to exploring this strange house. It's mostly empty but for books, which is something he likes. And he finds a closet, with more clothes that look like the sort of thing he'd wear, but they're all just huge on him. Well, he does acquire a shirt and rolls up the sleeves. He feels a little less vulnerable that way.
Then he finds a woman with red hair, asleep in one of the rooms. He doesn't recognize her. And she doesn't seem to be wearing much. For some reason, that fact alone dries up any bold ideas he might have had about... what, demanding answers? Threatening her? He shuts the door as quietly as he can.
In the house's kitchen, he finds a knife block, and takes the knife that feels best in his hand. It's no dagger, but it's nicely pointy and very sharp, and he knows how to defend himself at least.
Thus armed, he sneaks from the house--no guards? Do they think a son of Odin is that little of a threat?--and starts looking for answers. He knows father will be here to rescue him soon, but he's also not going to sit still and just wait. He's going to be a warrior of Asgard, after all.
(OOC: His explorations take him all through the village and even out into the woods, so feel free to run across him anywhere!)]
All other days: [Loki is still convinced it's just a matter of time until father comes for him, but also now knows there isn't much he can do from inside this prison. So he'll just enjoy himself, and also see how much he can learn, since this is a very different place. He'll be poking his nose just about anywhere you can imagine, but he particularly likes the library and the Battle Dome.]
