House of M - The Beginning
Who: Billy Kaplan + Anyone who wants to be involved in the House of M Plot + Related CR + Anyone Really
What: Um. The House of M Plot.
When: October 1st-7th
Where: Literally anywhere in Luceti, yo
Summary: Billy returns from a kidnapping feeling a bit, er, different. A white light envelops the village for just a moment, and when it fades... well. All kinds of things are different, actually.
Rating: Varies, anything above R take it elsewhere!
Still accepting last minute sign-ups, if anyone is interested.
It starts off so innocently, early on the morning of October 1st. A burst of light, a warm rush of energy that consumes everything it touches, and it's gentle enough to feel like stepping out into sunlight from the shade. It's so brief that some people might not even notice it happened. But there are certainly... differences. Some subtle, some not. And those changed won't even understand the problem.
After all, why would perfection be a problem?
The truth is, there are no problems. There can't be. It's perfect, Billy thinks. Believes it. His belief is his reality, and now, it's their reality. It all has to be perfect; they deserve it, all of them, for one reason or another. And he'll do whatever he has to protect that perfection from being tainted, ruined, taken away from them.
Teddy died so this could happen, after all.
So what is your new reality?

One of the days!
Especially by the team that would usually have been wary of his continued presence in Luceti. Not to mention his... procreating.
Ohgod not another one.But hey, it's a perfect world and so old rivalries have long been put to rest and no one's really finding that weird.Which is why Natasha looks up with a wry smile when he wanders into the cafe this morning with his child and sets about making him a coffee.
"Morning, Loki."
Re: One of the days!
"Morning, Natasha." He sprawls on his regular chair, baby now balanced on one leg. "I don't suppose you have a banana laying about, do you?"
Re: One of the days!
"I do, actually. One banana for the little monkey," she replies with a grin, sliding his coffee over to him before reaching for his daughter. "Here. Trade you."

...and his very mixed feelings about adoption need not be expounded upon here because awkward. So very awkward.
"It's all a plot to make certain our children have playmates of nearly the same age."
Re: One of the days!
"Ahh, so that's your devious plot is it? You're a little behind Tony and Pepper, however."
Re: One of the days!
"Ah, if only I had found Rogue sooner." He grinned. "I shall simply have to show Tony up in other ways. I'm creative."
Re: One of the days!
"I'm sure you are, but he'll just take that as yet another challenge. Because that's just what the pair of you need. More excuses to cause chaos."
Re: One of the days!
Loki grinned. "Oh, and I have been contemplating a ...what do you call it. A barbecue."
Re: One of the days!
"Have you now? What has our life turned into? Tony's building a tree house and having tea parties in his front yard and you're wandering around with an infant drooling on your shirt and hosting picnics."
Re: One of the days!
Loki laughed. "This is what happens when men are domesticated. Let that be a lesson to others." But it did seem strange... no, the thought just slid away when he tried to consider it. Loki frowned slightly, rubbing his temple idly with his fingers.
"I suppose when all our troubles have ceased, we simply must focus on gentler pursuits, yes?" He smiled fondly at his daughter. "I may whine about the simplicity of it all, when everything seems too easy, but...I would not want my daughter to suffer as once I did."
Re: One of the days!
"I don't think that's something she'll ever have to worry about here."
