[It's October 10th and birthday preparations in the Uzumaki household have been finalized. Since Naruto had invited the whole village and there's no way that many people could fit inside their house, they opted for making the back garden party-ready instead.

Picnic tables have been set up outside, decorated with confetti. There are separate ones that hold all the food and drinks, and the entire garden has been decorated with balloons and streamers.]

[ooc: As it says, this is an open log for Naruto's party. Even if you didn't reply to his announcement feel free to show up, since everyone got invited. Make your own threads and go crazy :v]

I already did when I was workin' out how to make it. But I could have some with you... I guess.

[And away he goes...! ... Wow. He'll just follow and feel a little proud for the fact the guy is racing]

[Well once you decide to do something you should do it RIGHT THEN, right?

Anyway he's darted off to the kitchen where he left that ramen, pulling it out and already spooning bits into two little bowls. Not too much, just to try it.]

Yoooosh! Here goes!

[The first mouthful goes in. SUSPICIOUS..

definitely veggies. But... it still has that ramen-y taste to it.]

[GOOD. He was hoping it would! Well, the pre-batches had fit in together well, but now... there's this. Pleased and smiling, he ends up taking his own forkful out of what Naruto's got. It's a salad, so it works, but yeah.]

This batch was pretty good, then.

[Pridefully. Much pride. And he goes for his own bite]

Yeah! Just.. don't tell my Mom, yeah? If she sees him enjoying it she might try to make put even MORE veggies into their daily meals and no thankyou.]

D'you cook a lot?

Well yeah! I mean, I work at Seventh Heaven here in town.

Seventh Heaven? What's that?

...The restaurant?! It's only a few doors down from here man!

Oh! That's a restaurant? [He hadn't been in it yet.]

Well why didn't you say! I've got to go try it out.

Of course you do! Why didn't you do that already?!

I didn't know about it that's why! But I'll come... tomorrow! You're open tomorrow, right?

Yeah, of course we are! We're open every day! Usually.

Okay, then I'm gonna come tomorrow. [nod nod]

Good, then I'll probably be the one cookin' for you if you come in the afternoon!

What sort of things d'ya usually cook?

Personally, I'm best with Japanese stuff but I've been getting better about other stuff.

Japanese stuff? [What's Japan?]

Yeah. Like Oden? Udon? Ramen's actually Japanese too. That sort of stuff.

Oh! There's a name for that? That just sounds like the normal food we got in Konoha.

[rashness]

Yeah! Back on Earth that sort of stuff's Japanese, and then you got more American stuff like hamburgers or fancy French cuisine or it turns out America's also got special flavors for the south part of it... which shouldn't be surprising, because Kansai's got it's own way of doing things that Suguro tells me I'm not as good at.
