[It's October 10th and birthday preparations in the Uzumaki household have been finalized. Since Naruto had invited the whole village and there's no way that many people could fit inside their house, they opted for making the back garden party-ready instead.

Picnic tables have been set up outside, decorated with confetti. There are separate ones that hold all the food and drinks, and the entire garden has been decorated with balloons and streamers.]

[ooc: As it says, this is an open log for Naruto's party. Even if you didn't reply to his announcement feel free to show up, since everyone got invited. Make your own threads and go crazy :v]

[When Naruto thanked him earlier, Minato just gave him a warm smile, definitely glad and proud that his all-nighter was fruitful. His son looked so happy and that alone washed away Minato's exhaustion that night. In fact, what kept him going, aside from Kushina's company, was imagining what Naruto's expression would be upon receiving them.

So with a quiet expression and some chuckling because he feels so content just watching them like this, Minato intervenes after a while when he sees them having difficulty with the gadget.]

Here, let me try.

[Minato gets the camera from Kushina, and with a calm expression, begins pushing a button. Instantly, the camera whirls to life and he positions it for a quick snapshot.]

Ah, there it is. Come on, I'll take a picture of you two. Smile.

[Kushina is a little huffy that she doesn't figure it out and doesn't let go RIGHT AWAY. But she doesn't want to break the camera when Naruto hasn't even used it so she lets Minato fiddle with it.

OF COURSE HE FIGURES IT OUT.

She's not really too keen on having pictures taken of her (she's much rather get Minato and Naruto in one) but it's Naruto and it's his day and she wants him to remember it when he looks in his album. So she'll look over to him beside her and smile at him in that 'sorry about him' way before tugging him into her side firmly with both arms wrapping around his shoulders and her cheek pressing to his.

Affectionate mom.

And giving Minato the smile he asked for and then some.

Once he takes it, she grabs his shirt and pulls him towards them.]

[Tugged close, he puts on his best smile for the camera. He was about to say that all three of them should take one, but Mom already beat him to it.]

Yeah! We've gotta have one of all four of us. [Picking up Gamamaru too, Naruto's holding him up with a goofy smile on his face.]

Once he's beside them, he positions the camera so it can take a picture of all four of them without him taking it like earlier. Minato figured, after taking a picture of the two of them a while ago, that one doesn't have to look into the lens to take a photo. This is how high-tech it is.

Once Minato's satisfied with the camera's position and he's sure it can take a picture of them without accidentally cropping one, he beams.]

One, two, three, smile!

[Success! The angle looks a little weird, though, but it nonetheless captures all four of them. They look like (and most probably are) the happiest family of everywhere.]

[Once it's taken Naruto is tugging the camera away so he can have a look at the screen, assuming it is one of those digital ones where you can see the photos that were taken.]
