The gentleman in question gave Loki a brief look, "'Ladies like a winner,'" and then shot a look of boyish charm and hope in Rogue's direction. There was such a disingenuous charm to it, that Rogue couldn't automatically discern whether or not it was slimey or genuine. Either way, it was a strange cross between flattering and insulting -- obviously she was with Loki, why would he think...

Well, Loki had said it first.

Rogue rolled her eyes, but her smile was kind. "Sorry, sugar. I'm gonna stick with a sure thing." She kissed Loki's cheek and then addressed him. "An' I take that as a compliment. Do you have a napkin?"

She held up her arm that had the champagne glass, and part of her glove and bits of bare skin now glistened with spilled champagne.
