Though I think history's shown us that when two people are star-crossed, even when they are from different worlds, sometimes there's a reprieve given to them where one isn't left without the other. Hardly a universal fact, but I do seem to recall Xion-chan and that Luke fellow being gone not long after the other. Maybe there's a sense of irony in this world.
