What: First Annual Luceti Tournament

Summary: Peony has made good on his promise to set up a tournament and today is the day for all the action.
Rating: PG-13 for the violence/fighting/possible language.

Finally the promised day has arrived! As competitors and audiences alike gather for the start, the whole outside area draws the eye to the grand carpet and banners with symbols for every event. There is also a table being restocked with free snacks and water bottles for those waiting around or still finding their way. Most notably, though, is a signboard with the times for all the events and competitors.

Whether you're competing or here for the entertainment, however, it's hoped you'll enjoy the events and fight or cheer hard! Now without further ado, make your own threads or comment around and let the games begin...

[Normally he would chime in again, but with this being another moment the contestant needed for concentration, he keeps quiet for the next shot. He chuckles in agreement, however, and waits for the knife to make contact with the board.

A pause follows after, really just to add the dramatic factor for the contestant and the crowd, and he records the point earned before looking up to announce the verdict.]

7! Now it's moving up.

Can still go higher. [But it was an improvement.]

[Twisting the next knife around between his fingers, he gave Peony a grin.] Suppose a bribe be out of the question. [It all meant in good humour rather than an actual inquiry.]

What good would a bribe do? You sound like a good guy. Of course, you're always free to send me a gift if you happen to win, anyway.

[Peony knows that it was only meant in good humor, and chuckles as he throws back his loose reply. At the same, he is still watching for that last throw...]

How wrong ya be. [Remy replied with a smirk before kissing the handle of the knife for good luck and aiming again. Lady Luck, be a nice time for you to show up.]

[He threw his last shot of the contest.]

Well since you insist, I'll have no other choice but to take your word for it. [Of course this's just another way of him subtly underlining the joke about the bribe.

Simultaneously, he records and comments on the last shot.] And there we have it: your last shot is a 6. It's possible Lady Luck was listening.

[Could had been worse. Could had been a hell of a lot better, but it was done.]

Merci monsieur referee, will take my leave with that. [He offered Peony a bit of a sarcastic salute, before retrieving his knives and heading off to wait and see where he would place after the others threw.]
