We have all sorts of stones, and there are moon stones of course. But...probably not the same sort of thing.

[Gosh, girl you are just the most adorable sweet thing! And Red is too, she's learned to read his expressions a bit better than the overexcitable girl's.]

The kinds of moon stones I'm familiar with are just ordinary rocks from the moon.

Re-ed! ((She manages to drag it out into two syllables, yep.)) You know what I mean! If they don't have pokémon, they probably don't have Fire Stones and Thunder Stones and stuff.

I wish I could show you a stone like that from my world, Saori. They're so pretty.

Moon Stones are meant to be from the moon too! [ oh, which reminds him- ] Hey, Saori, did I ever tell you the about clefairy and clefables?

[ Leaf are you going to let him tell it or are you going to butt in. ]

No, you didn't. Is that a kind of Pokemon, or a kind of story?

They're pokémon that evolve when they hold Moon Stones! And they're so cute, Saori. Wait, let me show you! ((SORRY, RED. She doesn't mean to steal his thunder, she just gets excited about pokémon. But Red has time to steal the thunder back as she pulls out her pokédex and fiddles with it.))

[ HE'S STEALING IT BACK SO QUICK. ]

But that's not all. [ huff! ] People say they're even from the moon. If you're really careful and really really lucky, you can find them in places dancing together on a full moon! You don't hear about that with nidorans and their kind.

[Oh goodness, she feels like she's being tugged in two directions by two sweet kids. Jeeeeeez. But she focuses on Red while Leaf gets her thing.]

So, they're like actual fairies, then? Are they stronger in moonlight? And they evolve like Saur did?

Look! ((She's got it! A picture of clefairy pops up on her pokédex, and she waves it excitedly in front of Saori's face.)) I don't know about actual fairies. But- have you ever seen them dancing, Red? I waited around Mt. Moon for a whole month, but I could never find them.

[pokeboy]

[ Her pokédex looks different to Red's...

but no time to think about that! ]

I didn't see them dance, but I caught a clefairy! [ 1 point for him!! ] There was a lot of noise in Mt. Moon when I went there, so none of them really wanted to come out...

Well it certainly looks cute. Like a marshmallow, almost!

And you say you caught one? That must've been exciting. Are they strong?

[pokegirl]

I... don't know. I've never caught one. But all pokémon can be strong if you work hard together, right? ((She turns to Red with a nod.))

[pokeboy]

[ He hums in some agreement, though there's a thoughtful sound to it that matches the one on his face. ]

She- my clefairy, Fairy- she's not that much of a fighter. Or she wasn't. She's really nice and sweet though, and her attacks are...

[ He drags the last word, thinking back. ]

They're not [ um ] straightforward? She can build up her defences and trick you, make you fall asleep... [ To Leaf- ] Do you have a jigglypuff? They fight kinda the same, or my two do. They're good friends. They actually train a lot together.

[ He folds his arms. ] Don't jigglypuffs evolve too?

So...like a real faerie then. Only some of them fight, but they're all good at tricking people.

[pokegirl]

Yeah, I caught a jigglypuff! It evolves into wigglytuff, and they're the cutest pokémon. ((An indignant squawk from Ch'Ding, and she amends her statement.)) Some of the cutest pokémon.

And yeah, I guess they are tricky. But only ever to people who deserve it, or pokémon in battle. My wigglytuff's never tricked me before. Though... I guess that's because we became friends back when he was a jigglypuff. When I first met him, he was a little sneaky.

[pokeboy]

[ He huffs a small laugh at that. Of course, Ch'Ding. ]

Fairy and Jiggly don't trick me either, but it's the way they fight. Hmm, like... they don't have a speciality like grass or fire types. They're normal types like Snorlax, but they're not as big or hard hitting as him.

-- oh, but Fairy knows a special move called 'metronome'! It's a move where she can do any type of attack at random!

Well, one would hope that they aren't tricking you. You're supposed to be brave, wise adventurers, right?

[And not just a pair of adorable kids...]

And no, I didn't think they were all that big. Snorlax is almost as big as an ogre, after all. [She turns her attention now, though, to Ch'Ding...]

And you, I can't say I've seen many things as cute as you. And I've been around to see a lot of really cute things, you know.
