Where: Literally everywhere!

B is for Butterfree
bendingspecial attacks and all.]Well yeah we do. But we don't keep all of the animals as pets though! I mean, I would run screaming if any person introduced me to his pet platypus bear; he'd probably eat me. I did run screaming from Korra's polar bear dog; those things have been the bane of my tribe for years! They're just not likely pets!
For the most part, we don't hunt or eat the things we keep as pets. [He leans in a little closer, almost whispering.] I mean, would you actually even consider eating another Pokémon that you actually had as a pet?
b is for bushes
[ Oops, didn't mean to include everybody else into the conversation there. But of course, the matter of the fact of the subject is -- people do eat those pokémon (maybe...), and he can't deny that. This is a mess of a subject. ]
Don't you think it's weird for a trainer too? You never think about it, it just is! And I don't know what I think about it!
B is for Barbie
Well that's because you haven't had to think about it. If I'd grown up and lived in a world like Luceti, I wouldn't have had to think about it either.
[He pauses for a second before trying a different angle.]
A couple of weeks or months ago, I taught Masaomi how to skin an animal so that you could prepare to cook it. I told him I'd do it for him, but he really wanted to learn, so I showed him. [Sokka laughs slightly with a hint of deviousness.] Man, he almost couldn't keep his lunch down when he saw what it actually entailed. I mean, he did, which is saying something, but...
Even my sister doesn't want to have to think about that. When we were off in the wilderness, I would cut up all the meat, and then she'd prepare everything else.
When you don't have to actively think about how the food gets to you, I can imagine it's weird when you suddenly have to.
b is for books
It's not like food just shows up and anyone can take it back in my world. We have to pay for it. [ ... ] Are you even talking about that kind of thing?
B is fpr brodacious
If someone else makes food for you, yes, we still have to pay for it back in our world too. But that's not what I'm talking about.
What I'm saying is... if you don't actually have to go out hunting for food, usually you don't care quite as much how it gets made?
[At least, that's what he thinks he's talking about now.]
b is for broccoli
...Yeah? I get that. [ And now his puzzlement has increased even more. So this guy is just... validating what he's said? Something like that? Though if that's what it is, that's a confusing way to go about it.
But Red sighs, stretching out his arms in front of himself and then plopping them back down. ]
I don't know what I was trying to say. It doesn't matter. [ It just seems easier. ] I get what you're saying, I just... [ No, don't bother. ] I guess it's just a part of life.
B is for bemusement?
Well, eating delicious meat is definitely an important part of life, that's for sure. Anyway, chow down, Red. You don't want that getting too cold.
b is for buh
I ate earlier. [ And it wasn't a lie - not really. He stands up, doing so with a small huff. ] Anyway, I want to check on my pokémon.
b is for bye?
[More meat for Sokka? He won't protest over that.]
