[Anakin, Luke, and Ami – Saturday through whenever they get done with their item-getting]

[Anakin wasn’t sure how he’d ended up agreeing to this expedition. On the one hand, the claustrophobic feeling from the shrunken enclosure was gone, now that the barrier was gone, and that was nice. On the other hand, he was still more akin to a personal dark cloud of gloom trailing after Luke and Ami than anything close to resembling a companionable human being.

And yet, here he was, pet storm cloud, following his son, and his son’s girlfriend while they sought out something called iron bamboo.]

[Ami did her best to keep the mood of the group lighter. If that wasn't exactly Anakin's natural state at the moment, well she'd had experience with other brooding, and angry, men. Her way was usually a light touch.

The truth was, while she still didn't like being caught up in Romaeus' plots, she liked being out of the enclosure and able to see more of the world. She was made for this, exploring these places she'd never seen yet. If the price for it was some iron bamboo, which would supposedly help their own cause, too, then it was a price she would willingly pay.]

I'm feeling a little more cheerful away from the enclosure.

Ah! I brought extra supplies for our travels, too, as much as I could.

[Having a project, and having something to do...as well as the extra time to spend with Ami, was doing wonders at pulling Luke out of his rut. He'd happily agreed to go along, storm cloud or not, Malnosso plots or not, because it was a measure of freedom and time.

Outside the Barrier, with the Force flooding back into him, he actually felt whole, completely ready to face whatever the wilderness brought with them.

Grinning, he nodded to his girlfriend.]

Definitely. It's nice to get out and stretch a bit. The enclosure is really just too cramped.

[And he was getting tired of intruding Ewoks if truth be told.]

[ Outside Luceti, south-west forest ]

[ It's by ATV (thank you, lovely auntie Ginia) that gets Red over to the south-west forest rather quickly than going by foot, exciting and bumpy and woah there sure are a cluster of rattata being thrown around in his head now. They've still not finished bumping and and falling over once they've stopped, but they'll - and, you know, actually Red - will be fine with a couple of minutes in. It doesn't help that there's an electrode in Red's stomach too, but it's sleeping, all that energy he knows is in him not yet buzzing out.

He wants to see the iron bamboo. One because it's wanted, and two is it really iron bamboo guys? Guys?? Iron bamboo?? Iron iron bamboo?

Splitting up here doesn't seem too bad of an idea to the group, and Leaf was the one with the oversized steel snake to be a signal to group together again, as well as a spot to return to. Pikachu ventured through the trees along their way, leaving small marks on the branches to leave a trail for the way back too. He wasn't the only pokémon out either, Venusaur and Snorlax allowing to enjoy the wild.

So one boy with his pokémon could be found, perhaps in the area of the bamboo or allowing himself to rely on the fact Pikachu would be able to get them back and wandering freely.

That is until Snorlax finds what he deems acceptable as food (coiled vines and thorns, bushes, roots, berries amongst the mix and halts their journeying for a time. Those grossly loud sounds like they belong in a movie with a monster that devours everything is definitely coming from this guy.

This guy will eat anything. ]

[ They've gone as far as they can predict the south-east forest to be, or on the outskirts of it. Looking for unicorns and taking the noisy vehicle in probably won't go too well together (Ginia, how do you feel about leaving the ATV unattended?) and it's actually nice to get a pair of feet onto the ground. The green, green new and exciting ground.

That electrode was still living inside Red's body and it was just ready to explode. (but maybe they went to the bamboo forest first who knows who cares) ]

[ Gets asked to Ginia, and to Leaf ]

I've never heard of unicorns before, but they sound exciting! ((She twirls as she walks, arms clasped behind her back as her eyes take in their surroundings instead of actually. Looking at the people she's talking to.)) They're basically like a new pokémon, right? It shouldn't be hard to track one down. Maybe our pokémon can communicate with one!

[Thank goodness for being able to walk and write at the same time. Ginia keeps her writing short as she strolls along, paying attention to the surroundings. Honestly, she has no less experience finding unicorns than Red or Leaf and there's no telling if the stories she read as a kid are even true. But something is still better than nothing.]

In the stories I read, unicorns are said to be shy, appearing only to those that are pure of heart.

[Whatever that means. And only pure maidens if the stories are true, but she doesn't want to discourage Red in any way.]

[Finally. Finally!

In Giovanni's experience, contained areas never stay contained for too long. It was only a matter of time before that annoying barrier (for their protection, he's sure people will argue) came down, and he's going to savor it as much as he can. Getting out of that backwater village is an even bigger perk. Apparently some noble hearts out there want to continue scavenging and helping out others, but for now, it's his chance to stretch out his arms and do some real work.

Those who dare to get near the rugged mountain terrain of this continent may notice a constant stream of rumbles and shakes in the ground. Those who dare to get even closer will notice cliffsides collapsing and monstrous boulders rolling down slopes to crash at the bottom - that is, if those who venture close can stand through all the shaking. There are finally no limits out here, and Giovanni may as well take advantage of it with a little Pokemon training.

Those looking out for actual life forms may then notice the man himself clinging onto the back of Nidoking as they slide down the cliffs and crush every rock in their path until only pebble and dust get left behind. It probably makes digging for useful items a pain, but that's not his problem, is it?]

[Dad's not the only one that decided to explore the mountainous continent- Silver and Hilda have been taking a pretty leisurely trip through the mountains on Gyarados' back.

But Gyarados senses a disturbance in the force- there's a lot of shaking and rumbling and general unrest that doesn't quite seem natural, and he grumbles a little bit at Silver- who, without Hilda's input, flies down to investigate the cause.

Of course it's him. Silver doesn't get down from Gyarados before calling out.]

Didn't you have enough of falling into holes in the mountains?

[Who is he speaking to? Hilda may have fine eyesight, but it's still not someone she recognizes. Was it really so important as to stop their flight?

... Well, if it was disturbing Gyarados and the rest of the life here, then it surely was. Though she didn't think Silver would know the culprit. The princess leans on Gyarados' crown, but doesn't speak just yet.]

[It is important enough to stop their flight, yes, and important enough for Giovanni to pause his training and see who's speaking to him in the middle of his long-awaiting training. It's...that boy, the other one, the one who apparently helped drag him out of the rubble and recover from that incident. The boy's strange, but resourceful, and has...a girl with him? Even stranger.

Giovanni tugs on one of Nidoking's horns, getting the creature to stop his rage and notice their guests. He doesn't say anything, but looks at them hard, making sure it's the boy he thinks it is. The girl, on the other hand, he can't say for sure.]

[Once it seems safe enough to hop off of Gyarados without getting injured, he slides off of his flying fish and heads over to his father without considering an explanation or an introduction.]

You should be more careful. There are shifts out here that can split the earth just as well as you can. One ate our campfire a couple of days ago.

It was rather startling.

[That's her two cents about it, though she doesn't really know if she should come with. Maybe it'd be better up here. At the very least, she could keep Gyarados company? And to stay away from the shifts more.]

For what reason are you moving the mountain sides in such a way? It seems rather counteractive to our purpose...

[Though it might uncover some ore, now that she thinks about it.]

[Shifts...? Yes, he's heard about those wrecking havoc. It's riskier than ever now, considering their circumstances being thrust into the past, but again, it's not his problem. He's content staying on this spec of land so long as his power isn't contained.

He doesn't recognize the woman, though. What is Silver doing bringing someone else along?] Who is she?

[...Huh- right. Right. Dad doesn't know about anything about his life.]

This is Hilda. She's one of my friends. We're exploring together since it's safer in numbers.

Maybe? [ Who knows what their pokémon will be able to do. He's not going too far ahead of Ginia at least - Leaf can play the lead.

He peers at what she writes. It's a little shaky to read while walking, but- ] Ginia says they're supposed to be shy and only show up to... pure of heart people? Whatever that means. [ Yep, same thinking, Ginia. ]

I guess they'll be deep in the forest anyway. [ Because of the tale and because that's where they were told to go. ] Hmm, do you think we could attract one with a sweet scent maybe? Saur's a nice pokémon too!

[Despite the seriousness of the situation and the threat of war, natural shifts, and maybe-inevitable murdering cultists, it's hard for Billy not to get excited about the barrier coming down. After weeks of wondering and worrying about what they're even here for, they finally know, and at last, they have two very important things: freedom, and a mission worth pursuing. And he wastes no time at all getting himself out there.

Much of his journeying is spent flying as far as he can go with Teddy, exploring the land, taking photos from above of all the beautiful sights previously unseen, and tracking down much-needed materials for whatever it is that'll send them forward in time again.

He'll travel with others here and there- the wonderful thing about being back to full power is the ability to teleport to anywhere he needs (or wants) to be. And he makes this power known, too- so if you need a ride, or if you need materials taken back to town, he's happy to help. Just holler on the journal and he'll be there.

Or, you know. Call him for the company, he's cool with that, too.]

[Hilda curtsies, studying the man. He seems rather gruff. And rudeish. But in that distrustful sort of way, like her people. How does Silver know him?]

It is a pleasure to meet you sir, though the circumstances are not my favorite by far. May I ask that you allow us to join you? If that would be alright with you as well, Silver.

[ The arrival here comes thanks to one wind spirit flying bro Eleytheria, leading a small group of Lucetians on his long back. Each person had their own place of interest, but at least had their own abilities to take care of themselves (and provide teleportation back to notyet!Luceti and elsewhere. Helios, the ultimate bro for keeping you located). ]

[ a; south-east coast and grasslands ]

[ Red spends some time around the south-east of the continent, where the flowers are meant to be growing and heading for the coast too; Eley expressed interest in the plants that could be found and hey, why not have the search around?

As well as keeping an eye on the materials needed, foraging takes place for the pokétrainer and his pokémon. Pikachu and Snorlax have the years of living wild to know and identify the type of foods they might like; though they are a little different too. Snorlax isn't so picky and willing to stuff anything into his mouth. What do you mean that might be poisonous? Please. You think that stomach cares?

But maybe you'll be able to find a pokémon - or even the trainer - by themselves or with another. Snorlax and Pikachu, Pikachu, Snorlax, Venusaur and Red; whatever combination you can think of. If they're by their own they may be looking for food, or perhaps they're looking again for their group. But the natural shifts mean that small jumps happen, and one may not be where they were just a second ago.

There's times where they are together however, such as at the coastline. Red's attempts to fish mean - well. Not him fishing. Pikachu tries using what heights he can to scan and listen to the water for any fish swimming, then darting in to grab at them with claws and teeth. Venusaur as well is using her own techniques of razor leafs, sharp like blades to stop them still. The fish here don't seem to have the same skin for punishment as pokémon, huh...

-- but you know what Red can do? Grab seaweed. Seaweed. And so the boy goes without socks and shoes on and his trousers up to his knees, going along the beach for pick up the soggy stuff from the water and what's been drifted up. Weird guy. ]

(tl;dr: Red can be found in the grasslands or along the coastline. His pokémon can be found by themselves for separate interactions so feel free to bump into them (and Red too) as you wish! )

[ b; west/southwest, near the forest (camp) ]

[ There's also the camp, the place close to where they first land and make use of. Helios's tracking and teleportation makes for easy getting back once it gets dark enough, as well as bringing anything they find.

The light of a campfire will make it easy to find, so if you're in the area, perhaps you'll be attracted towards it. There's likely wards around too however, so be careful if you're planning to get up to no good.

And here's a question for one of the gatherings - whether with just the original group or any who've come to stop the night with them. ]
