[While he may not look it, Beast is a ball of nerves as he and a number of others journey into the tunnels. He won't speak much except when confronted or seeking some inquiry himself. Once the clearing is reached, however, he does become more vocal in the hopes that it will relax him better. And as soon as he is aware of the spirits that invade the tents, he takes it upon himself to keep watch - they can't be any different from the wolves and droids he's fought, right? ... Right?]

[He may put it off for a while, but he can't stay in the centre forever. After one more morsel of food, he dons one of his many cloaks and scarves and approaches his blue-haired friend.]

Bittersweet and strange
[And then there's the light at the end of the tunnel. Home; back to his servants and who could potentially be l'amour de sa vie. But at what cost? The chance to remember his other prison, and the many, many friends he's made there. He once thought he could never have a true friend, but here they are, and they've in their own way given him the chance to go back. And leave them behind.
Even with so much joy awaiting him, he takes as much time as needed to assist and bid farewell to his companions. And after all of the tears and embraces and thoughtful exchanges, he can only ask that these memories will not be all for nothing.]
