Summary: There are lots of trainers here in Luceti, new and old. Now let us bond.
Rating: G until Crystal comes in
[There are quite a number of Pokémon trainers here in Luceti, so Yellow and Ash (who is not here anymore, sadly) decided that it would be a fabulous idea to get everyone together to hang out. Get to know each other, their Pokémon... each other's Pokémon. With the new Pokémon trainers -- both those who recently received babbies as well as those who just arrived in Luceti -- this became even more necessary.

So! Gather 'round at the beach, ye pokeymanz tamers. There are a few tables set up with food for the trainers themselves, and even one covered in Pokémon food! Balls (that Eusine did not misplace in a forest) are scattered around as well, along with other play things and such.

PARTY HARD, TRAINERS.

[An unfamiliar Pokémon, and an unfamiliar trainer. The former catches his interest primarily, but the latter isn't entirely unnoticed.]

...What type is that Pokémon?

[dragoneer]

Oh! Uh, dragon type. She's a dragon type. [He's pretty sure about that, at least. He's nervous about what other questions might come--he's not exactly well-versed in Pokemon jargon yet.]

[cooltrainer]

Haven't seen one of these before.

[He's got his Pokédex out already! And clicking away, presumably putting data into it.]

Do you have other Pokémon?

[dragoneer]

[Hiccup shakes his head.] No. I'm one of the new trainers--she's one of the baby Pokemon from the eggs. Um--I'm Hiccup, by the way.

[cooltrainer]

Green.

[He flips his Pokédex closed.]

Your first one is a dragon? Rough way to start.

[dragoneer]

[Uhuh. Green. You know, he's not surprised.]

Uhhh...it is? [Aww great.] What makes you say that?

[cooltrainer]

They are stubborn and are very slow to mature, compared to other Pokémon. If they get too powerful, they might reject your control.

[All said entirely matter-of-factly, though, not necessarily to discourage.]

Lots of exercise. Once it starts using attacks, then regular training.

[dragoneer]

[...of course.

It doesn't sound too surprising, considering Toothless' dragon nature, buuuuut still. He couldn't have gotten an easy Pokemon, huh.]

U-um--right. We'll be training. Iiii like to think I know dragons pretty well, too. Since I...have one.

[cooltrainer]

You said this was your first?

[dragoneer]

Well, first Pokemon. I have another not-Pokemon dragon. He's from my home world. So I've at least spent a lot of time around dragons.

[cooltrainer]

Really?

[Green smiles, for once, looking fascinated.]

I'm interested in meeting it.

[dragoneer]

[...And Toothless had been so mad Hiccup told him to stay home. Ah well.]

Oh--sure, you can if you want to. ...As long as you don't try to battle him or something.

[cooltrainer]

[A... mixed look. He's torn between "why", "why not", and "did that happen before?"]

[dragoneer]

...Just. Fighting him isn't quite the same as fighting a Pokemon.

[Hiccup knows this from his vast experience of Pokemon battles, apparently. :|a]

[cooltrainer]

...You tried? How was it different?

[Very interesting!]

[dragoneer]

Well, I didn't fight him. I fought alongside him against another dragon. He doesn't, you know, have a moveset or anything. He just kind of...does his thing.

[So to speak.]

[cooltrainer]

...Hmm. How does he fight?

[dragoneer]

Umm...flying, biting, breathing fire, swooping in and out and causing explosions...that sort of thing.

[cooltrainer]

Interesting. There might still be something to learn from you.

[dragoneer]

[Whoa, wait, what?] Learn from me? Why?

[cooltrainer]

Pokémon are natural-born fighters. It's important to learn as many new ways to battle with them as possible.

Training never ends.

[dragoneer]

[Huh. A thought.]

Do trainers ever ride on their Pokemon if they can fly?

[cooltrainer]

Definitely. It's one of the primary forms of transport, for most trainers.

[He'll release charizard! Who also has fangs and claws, spits fire, and can fly.

Hence why Green thinks he can possibly train with Hiccup and Toothless.]

[dragoneer]

[OH SHIT DRAGON.

...Or a very dragon-looking Pokemon. Okay, this is starting to make more sense.]

What kind of Pokemon is this? Is he a dragon type, too?

This is Charizard. He's not a dragon-type. He's a fire/flying type.

[Charizard lets out a low bellow.]

I've been traveling with him for nearly 5 years now.
