But no really. The draftees are in space. The mod post about it is here, so familiarize yourself with the details. This log is for general interactions, where you can tag around as your characters familiarize themselves with the ship, look out the windows, try on their space suits, and run simulations for the Tyr-Fighters. (Among other things.)

[So! Once Yellow's all set and has Chuchu, Ratty, and Dody suited up, she starts wandering around the ship, partly to familiarize herself but mostly to check up on Crys and the others. While doing so, she spots a familiar face which.. looks like it's not in very good shape at all.

Walking on over hi hi.] Hey um.. Are you okay? [The fighting didn't already start without her knowing it or something, did it. Because that'd be really weird.]

[markofthewise]

[He's currently leaning against the corridor wall, moving slowly, holding at his side.]

Urgh. I've been better. [A pause as he realizes who it is.] Hey Yellow.

[moehealer]

Hi, Sokka. [It's been a while. But! That matters not.

She looks him over briefly again, frowning.] I can tell.. You look like you got really hurt, after all. [She can fix that! She wasn't expecting to so early on in the draft, and certainly not before the fighting even started, but.]

[markofthewise]

[He didn't really have time for conversation. He needed a healer first. So his answer was blunt.]

A Shift Hunter bit me. I need to go. I have to find a healer.

[moehealer]

Oh. [Ouch. But oh, there we go. She gives him a bit of a short wave, then smiles. Did he not know of her healing abilities from the last time she had apparently been here..?]

..Oh! I can help! I'm a healer.

[markofthewise]

[He blinks, surprised at her. But he doesn't question it. If she just knows Nala, that might be enough. So he nods.]

Okay... over here.

[He carries himself, painfully and limping, into another corridor. It's not very private, but it's out of the way of other people coming and going. He can slide himself down into a sitting position there. Even if it hurts like hell.]

[moehealer]

Okay. [She nods and follows him, along with her three partners, down the corridor.

Once Sokka's sitting, Yellow squats down beside him, raising a hand over him.] It'll just take a bit, okay? [And that it will. She'll go ahead and start working her magic (quite literally?), taking a few moments to heal up his wounds.]

[markofthewise]

[He tries to relax through it, teeth gritted and forehead drenched in sweat. He shouldn't have been moving with a patchwork job like he had. When she's done, he pulls up his tunic. The bloodsoaked bandages are still firmly stuck to his side. Carefully he starts to try and peel it off, expecting it to be painful. It is, still, but only a slight prickling. It's enough that he can look to see if it's still bleeding.

Fortunately, it's not.]

[moehealer]

There. [She sits back once she's finished and waits for Sokka to check under his bandages. Seeing that there's nothing bleeding, she smiles.]

Does it feel better?

[markofthewise]

[He rubs away some of the blood. It's still sore, but he can live with it. But what sticks out... is the scars. Teeth marks, from one side of the front to the back. He runs his finger along them silently at first.]

Yeah.

[moehealer]

[...Ouch. Yellow can't help but kind of stare at those scars and bite marks while maybe even flinching slightly. They looked painful, and she couldn't imagine how much more so it must have been when it actually happened.]

Good! I'm glad. Um.. That must have been really painful, so..

[markofthewise]

It was a Shift Hunter.

[He's content when he realizes they're fully closed. He tries rotating the arm above it. It's sore and stretching the skin hurts it a little, but he doesn't think it's going to reopen.]

[moehealer]

[Oh, right. He mentioned one biting him before. But..]

What is a Shift Hunter, anyway..?

[markofthewise]

You've never heard of them? [And here she is on a draft. Jeez.]

[moehealer]

Well.. I heard of them vaguely, but I've never seen them or anything before.

[markofthewise]

Well. They're big. They're on all fours, but they're about as tall as you are to the shoulder. They're skinny... like they've been starved. And you'd think they were dead by the way they look and smell, but they move quickly. They're vicious and their teeth...

[Sokka gazes at his new bit-shaped scar and lowers his clothes back over it.]

Those are big too.

[moehealer]

O-oh... Huh... They sound kind of scary-looking, then. [And dangerous, but that's a given!]

Do you think we'll see them here...?

[markofthewise]

[His world is full of vicious creatures. But he honestly thinks that those things might be scarier than all of them.]

Maybe. I don't know. The cultists might not be able to bring them.

[moehealer]

[Of course, Yellow has Pokémon in hers but. Yeah. Not nearly as scary as that.]

Oh... Well, I hope not. Especially considering how dangerous they must be. [Just look at those scars..!]

[markofthewise]

[You know. It's starting to occur to him. This is Yellow. On a draft. To fight unspeakable monsters.]

Hey, are you going to be okay?

[moehealer]

...Huh? Oh, um... Y-yeah, I'll be fine!

[If anything, she's really just concerned about her friends, noncombatants, and. well. just the fact that everyone's going to be fighting around here and augh.]

[markofthewise]

You're not going to try and fight though, right?

[moehealer]

[She shakes her head.] No... I'm going to try and avoid it as much as I can, and help heal and assist people instead.

[markofthewise]

Well. I owe you one. If you get into trouble, I'll try and help.

[They'll be in a big place though, so he knows that isn't too realistic. But he'll try all the same.]

[moehealer]

--Huh? Oh... Alright then. Thanks, Sokka. The same goes for you too then, okay? [Even if she already did just help him kinda. Shhsh.]
