[Well Naoto cerrtainly isn't sleeping! Despite the late hour and how tired she really is.

With weird things going on throughout the day, an experiment no doubt, she can't help but stay up and write down what all she's witnessed. She doesn't want to take the risk and sleep and possibly forget important details in the morning.

But. It seems like the surprises aren't over yet, even at night. Since Roji seems to be... coming out of her closet... what. She turns a little and sits up straight more, obviously surprised.]

...Roji-kun? [Kuzunoha perks his head up, as he's been resting on the bed, and his tail starts to bat the mattress repeatedly. VISITORS.]

Awww yis

[kindhearted]

[That's weird, Roji swore all the lights in his house were out, so why is the bathroom light on......

Wait, this isn't his bathroom.

Naoto is here, talking to him. This definitely isn't his bathroom.

His head jerks in her direction, with a classic "deer in the headlights" type expression on his face.]

I, u-um, er...

[What are words what are words.

Just...give him a few seconds here. He's trying to process what's even going on.]

[Reaction has definitely been noted. He's in just as much shock as she is with the fact that he came out of her closet and is now. standing in her bedroom. So that rules out any idea that he had hid in there.

Another part of the experiment maybe?

Kuzunoha jumps off the bed and sits in front of Roji, barking once]

How did you manage to get into my closet...?

[kindhearted]

[Still in shock, Roji awkwardly bends over to pet Kuzunoha.] N-Nice doggy...

[Then he glances back at Naoto.]

I...have no idea. I got out of bed to go to the bathroom, opened the bathroom door, and then I was here.

[It sounds crazy, but it's true. Roji knew he had a bad habit of getting lost, but it's kinda hard to get lost on the way to your own bathroom!]

I see... [It may sound crazy, but really, that kind of answer doesn't really surprise Naoto. She knows that with an experiment as bizarre as this one, anything can happen. Besides the whole teleporting thing has happened before.

The only thing that has really surprised her is that he ended up in her room. In her closet.

She relaxes in her chair a bit, tapping her pen against a piece of paper on her desk idly.] Teleportation then no doubt, caused by the Malnosso. [ ... ] There is no need for you to fear Kuzunoha, he means do to you no harm.

[He just wants love c:]

O-Oh, okay... [He pets Kuzunoha with more confidence this time.]

I get that this has to be a Malnosso thing...but what's the point of randomly teleporting us around? I'd feel even worse if you were trying to sleep or something and I walked right in... [He shivers with embarrassment. Or rather, embarrassment that could have happened.]

[Oh god Roji don't make her think about that. If he had come in while she was changing or just--no, just no. She tries to wave that last part off, turning to look back at her paper work to try and hide the light blush on her cheeks.]

The purpose behind certain qualities of each experiment is something I have yet to discover myself.

[kindhearted]

I don't think anyone's gonna figure that one out...the best we can do is go along with it. [He sighs.] It's not like we have a choice, though.

[There's another awkward pause before he works up the nerve to speak again.]

Um, Naoto...? Before I leave, can I use your bathroom? I don't think I can make it all the way back to my place in time...

[fortuneprince]

It doesn't seem likely that we ever will.

[She blinks and nods at him.] Ah, yes. Exit my bedroom and turn left. It will be the second door on your left.

[And so he rushes off...

Only to end up back in the closet after going through that door.]

[kindhearted]

[Not willing to give up so easy, he repeats the process two more times, only to end up back in the closet.

After the third time, he's trembling with frustration.]

Th-This isn't fair! Or funny!

[She watches him go to leave and--

...wait.

Wait what.

How did he... get back in her closet.

She watches him try to leave through her door and wind back up in the closet multiple times. When he stops, she gets up and walks over to the door, inspecting it carefully]

How strange. I was not even aware my own doorway had been tampered with. I have been able to exit and enter all night.
