[Okay, having an angry Wolverine suddenly wander into your bedroom while you're trying to get some work done is scary enough. But when he starts breaking the wall down? That's about ten times worse. Still, he just redecorated, dammit. So Billy's heading over, trying not to get too close.]

Wait, wait! What are you doing!?

[Someone hasn't gone out yet, oops.]

[snikting]

Leaving.

[He kicks the wall down. Fuck. That sure is one hell of a fall.]

But the door is-

[Nope, too late. Billy winces, staring down at the wreckage, then cautiously follows him out. And he just redecorated the whole place, too...]

...Nevermind. How did you get in here? I mean, I don't mind, but I didn't even hear you come in.

[snikting]

Through the door. From another door.

[Yeah. Cryptic. Meanwhile, he's peering down at the ground. Does he want to jump and just take the pain or do more property damage and slide down with his claws?]

[That... doesn't make much sense. Billy peers cautiously over the ledge, wondering how exactly he's going to sort this out. At least he didn't break the window...]

Want me to fly you down? It's better than jumping.

[snikting]

[Logan shoots Billy a look that suggests he'd rather throw Billy down and use him to cushion his fall.]

Pass. I ain't intending to jump.

[selfhelp]

[He's free to try, but that's a little hard to do with flying teleporters.]

It's just kind of a long climb, though... your call, I guess.

[snikting]

Ain't planning on climbing either.

[He's crouching down. Ready to leave. Unless Billy has further objections.]

[He's not jumping and he's not climbing? What else is there?]

...Just checking, but you can't fly now, can you?

[Some alternate universes, you really can't tell.]

[snikting]

[Logan gives a half grin, stretches out his wings, and then swings over the edge.

Watch as he slides down, totally Prince of Persia style, with his claws embedded in the side of the building. This shit would be so expensive to repair if the Mallies didn't have Shifts to do it automatically.

[...He really should have seen that coming, shouldn't he? Billy could follow him, but honestly, you can't deny a man that kind of cool exit. Plus he'd rather not get himself stabbed or something, even if this Wolverine seems less homicidal than the one he's met. So he just watches, eyes wide, and hopes that no one in the rooms below end up with a nasty surprise as a result.

Actually? Maybe he'd better go check. Once Wolverine reaches the bottom, Billy makes a hasty exit, hurrying out of his apartment and down the stairs to check on the rooms below.

Unfortunately doing that involves going through more doors, which is why, ten minutes later, he finds himself stepping out of a large, grated metal door, squinting in the darkness of...

...wait...

Where the hell is he now!?]

[snikting]

[Logan had intended to go home. Unfortunately the Malnosso must have caught wind of his little trick, because when he puts a hole to get into the house, it teleports him somewhere else.

In the tunnels. With his claws still out. For him, the realization where he is comes immediately and rather painfully as he stumbled from the door and across the tunnel to lean against the other wall.]

Ugh. What the hell?

[Oh god. Oh god you must be kidding-]

Wolverine? Is that you?

[He squints warily into the darkness, his eyes still adjusting. Does he really have that terrible luck?]

[snikting]

[Not only is his body feeling achey and tense, but his senses are deadened as well. He can't see Billy as well in the dark as he should be able to. Or even smell him.]

Yeah, kid. It's me. [Followed by a sigh of exasperation. Of all the people to end up with.]

[selfhelp]

[Ouch, was that for him? It's hard to tell in the dark, but it kinda feels like it was. Not that he can blame the guy, he's been a bit of a spazz from the get-go. Let's try to be useful.]

Another Shift... well, my offer of transportation still stands, if you want? You don't sound so good.

[snikting]

[You know what? He's not feeling so well. And he's using this wall to support himself as it is.]

I'm fine. Just make it quick. This jumping around is getting old. [Dammit. Why won't these claws retract? It's usually a small ache just keeping them out, but right now it feels like an open cut.]

[selfhelp]

Okay, hang on. [Billy shuffles closer, lifting a hand and starting up a chant. They should be by the plaza in 3... 2... 1...

....

Um.]

...Why isn't it working...?

[snikting]

[He lets out a highly frustrated groan. He knew it.]

Because we're in the tunnels, kid. Your magic ain't working and neither is my healing. [Or claws. His hands are going to start shaking at this rate.]

Oh geez, this is what the tunnels are like? I've never been down here.

[Ugh, talk about bad luck. Billy takes another glance around, hoping to find some light. It can't always be dark around here, maybe someone switched something off.]

The exit leads to the plaza, right? So we just need to find it.

[snikting]

Easier said than done. These tunnels run for miles. All the way to the ocean.

[Though Logan is making a few steps forward. There's no way of telling which direction is closer to an exit, so they just need to pick one and stick to it. He'll just use the wall to support himself as he goes.]

[selfhelp]

[Oh geez. Oh geez. So they could literally be anywhere.]

If we can at least get to an exit, I can teleport us from there. ...Do... do you need help?

[He's hesitant to ask - this is Wolverine we're talking about here - but the movement is slower than he'd have expected. Though depending on Logan's response (which will probably be "no" regardless of whether he needs it or not) he might get help anyway.]

[snikting]

[Help? Does Logan look like the help taking type? Yes, actually he needs it. But like hell he'll admit it.]

I'll- be fine. Let's just keep moving.

[selfhelp]

[Well, it wasn't a no. Billy hesitates for a moment longer, then steps closer to duck under Logan's arm, hooking it around his shoulders and offering his support whether the man wants it or not. This could get him impaled, he knows, but he's really hoping for the best here.]

Right- let's go.

[Not making a big deal about it- that'll help, right?]
