[After a few trips to other places, courtesy of door shenanigans, Kouki finally find himself at the grocery store.

Unfortunately, the floor is rather slippery today. As he try to make his way across, he see Frey. The words he overheard from the trees come into mind.

"Did you know Freyjadour killed his little sister's husband in front of her? Talk about an over-protective older brother!"

But he didn't get a chance to think about it for very long. The young demon king almost slip and fall to the ground.]

[If he knew about what the trees were saying about him, he would probably be quite annoyed.

As it is, he is still annoyed, and in some mild amount of pain given he just skidded into a shelf nearby. Hi, Kouki.]

Ah-!!

[de_bel_survivor]

[Who wouldn't be annoyed? Kouki would feel the same if he's aware of the rumours floating around about him.

Pushing himself up, he looks up and see a familiar persona.]

...Freyjadour? You okay?

[falenandawn]

Kouki.....? I'm fine! [Only no, not really, given almost immediately after he says that the shelf board he's clinging to decides to dump a pile of canned food on his head.]

[de_bel_survivor]

[Yeah, no. He can't really believe Frey's fine after that.]

What the--are you okay?!

[Don't worry, he's on his way!

Which would be what Kouki'd say, except when he gets up and move...the young king start sliding. Sliding right towards a shelf.]

Ah--[Thud.]

[So he might have a lump forming on the top of his head. Or a few.

He would be fine, really, but Kouki shouldn't have done that.]

What about you?

[He rub his head, vaguely aware of the fallen stock next to him.]

Yeah, I'm okay. Had worse than this, anyway.

[falenandawn]

[So had Frey, but that didn't change the fact it must hurt.] It seems like it might be better to avoid grabbing onto things, now that I think about it. Or at least anything that might become unstable.

[He slowly stands up.] In other words, almost anything in here.

.....indeed.

[de_bel_survivor]

...But we still need to leave.

Perhaps we can slide our way to the exit? Walking does not seem a viable option.

[de_bel_survivor]

Alright... [Glance around, taking note of the potential hazards.] We have to be careful of where we slide to.

[falenandawn]

Yes.... We will need to find a clear enough path to the door.

[de_bel_survivor]

Let's see...[He looks around again, recalling the store's layout in his mind. If he remembers the shelves and other things' locations, then he could plot out a possible path.

He points in a direction.] Let's start going that way.

[falenandawn]

[He looks in the direction, mentally going over the route as well. It might work.... They would probably leave a mess, though.] Alright.

[They would worry about the mess later. When this experiment's over.] Okay. Ready...?

[falenandawn]

Raady.

[And with that... he's letting go and pushing off in the direction Kouki pointed.

This was probably going to hurt a bit.]

[de_bel_survivor]

[Probably. Kouki pushes himself away, sliding after Frey.

And...there. Okay, it hurts a little, but they're across.]

So far, so good.

[falenandawn]

[He lands with similar jarring difficulty, but they are closer.] Yes... so far.
